Look, first off, I am turning 20 next month, which for those who are good at math, means that I couldn't vote in 2004 anyways. Personally, I didn't like Bush because he always seemed like a puppet to me, and Kerry... I always imagined him standing on stage swearing that he sais he didn't be president BEFORE he said he wanted to be... As for this election.. shame I don't live in South Carolina... Barack, as qualified a canidate as he is, is in essence a wasted vote... Hillary I find disgusting.. and everyone who thinks shw would make a good president I play a clip from back in 2002/2003.. When you can CLEARLY hear Hillary telling the floor how much we need to go into Iraq... she CLEARLY says it.. and yet as the audacity to jump on the Bush-bashing bandwagon and claim that she never really supported the war... Edwards is a failure.. no question about it.. Al Gore has a better chance than Edwards... Seriously, I am a registered independent, and yet if this is the best the Dem got.. then Colbert would make a better Dem canidate.. hell, he may also make a better Republican canidate.. though I think Guiliani is one of the GOP's best choices. For the real SC5.. I only ask for a few things: First off : REALISTIC AND NATURAL! Look at cities around the globe. How many are strict, flat, grid cities? I would like to be able to try and put a road up a monthain and have it become a switchback road up to the peak. Be able to have a coastal road that will conform to the coastline. When building residentials, they never stay gridlike. How about a winding suburb? That would help a bit more. 2nd: Capital District A place for the central government of your city, so that you have a are laid out for city hall, courthouse, etc. 3rd: Military aspect. I know most people would enjoy the seciryt of living next to a military faciity. Also, many bases have a residential area next to them. Beside, nothing says realism than having a miltary recriutment are. 4th: Weather as an aspect. Hurricanes baring down on my city? I want to be able to prepare for it, and watch my city attempt tp survive an hurricane. Heat wave on teh city? Crippling Blizzard? These are all aspect of cities, and should be included. 5th: Natural Boundaries. Most cities do not just grwo and said lets stop here and call it a boundary. When planning most cities use their natural boundaries. Ocean, mountains, rivers, anything that give a clear boundary. 6th: More coopertive play. With such things as the SCJU popping up, its gets me wishing for an online feature where you work with other cities, or other nations, with transits, export, imports, and diplomtic stances. It would be awesome to see how a city grows with a non-npc player playing for a different aspect. Most cities do not shar the same mentaility. Everything else pretty much is covered by others.

Hey, now it seems everytime I try to search the STEX, I get an error and it suggests to to start over... Meaning that I am signed out and have to redo everything... Is there something up with the STEX?

Sim_Air: Thanks for keeping up with this! I will work on the highways a bit more.. I was just in a hurry. Thanks for catching it, however! 2nerdy4u: I aim to please. Thanks for your input.. you'll find that I did do that. Back to Pheonoia! Like I said at the begining, I've been working real hard to get my cities back to their former glory.. and then some. So I have a pretty good update ont eh happenings of Phoenoia. Luckily for them, Phoenoia has not had a real bad disaster occur this time, but mostly their problems lie in the diplomatic sense, as their nation has ended up mostly in Limbo at the SCJU. A few major updates to show. If you recall from earlier, I had the Presidential Park and the International Airport up in the air. Here is the mostly completed Presidential Park. It has been constructed to give room for expansion, for when teh time comes. At the present time, starting from the top, you have the Pacifica Resort in the corner, and across from it, you have the International Relations Building. Continuing down teh street is the Phoenoia Defense Building, currently hodling the Phoenoia HIGHCOM. Next to that is the Presidential Building, where the eventual President of Phoenoia will reside for national buisness. The black building next to it was the Department of the Interior, which was recently burned in an arson attack. South of HIGHCOM is the National Parade Grounds, a moral boost for the masses. South of that is the Supreme Court building, where the Judiciary Committee reside. The park next to that is deemed Judicial Park, a relaxation place. Following that down is Phoenoia Square, where the other individual departments reside. South of the Park is the symbol of the Capital: the Phoenoia Capital Building. This is where the Coalition of Mayors currently reside to do buisness, and is the site of the Signing. Lining the east side of the park is Military Memorial Fountains. This honors the brave heroes who died preserving the integredity of the nation. This is the site for the Paradise Valley Internation Airport, or PVIA. As the airport is still under construction, the decommissioning of the Paradise Valley Municiple airport has been postponed, as to ensure uninterrupted travel. Next to the Municiple is the the headquarters for the Phoenoia Air Force Central Defense. This base is to ensure security at the airport, as well as the immediate central region. This is one of the Terminals under construction. It still has not been dedicated yet. Lastly, Paradise Valley recently opened the first zoo in Phoenoia, and all of Pacific Island. It immediatly gained notice as the first zoo without aboriginal species, as Pacific Island has none. Unforutnatly, I do not have a full update for you, but I will offer a sneak peak, any experts on the two subjects will be very helpful so that I can make it perfect before it becomes too much work. This is the Presidential Park, the government area where the captial and Government building will be located, surrounding a pond/park. I have two buildings I think will go here, but here is plan one. These are the first runways for the Paradise Valley Internation Airport, this is importnat to get feedback, to make sure I am doing this right... I have found airports to be quite a challenge... Hey all, well, still hard at work, I will show you some updates, but also I need your help... again.. This above is the capital city of Paradise Valley. As you can see... nothing is there. Since I had to redo my region.. I decided to give this city a large makeover. However.. there I am falling short, and wanted to get your opinion of the matter. This is what I propose to the new capital. First off, and most important, is the red area, which will be desinated for the capital buildings. There I have also planned a large park ing the middle, using PEG's pond mod... however.. I am not experienced at that... In Blue is what I've designated as THE downtown sector. All the highrises and such will be here... only thing worth noting about the downtown secot is that the highrise wonder I asked for someone to build for Phoenoia will be located here. In green is where I wanted the Phoenoia International Airport, as you can see.. I designated a large portion to it. I have some of the things to make an airport.. but I wanted the airports specialists to give me pointers, and maybe design a Phoenoia specific addition tot eh airport.... The Purple are, and the arrows were just me thinking out loud, that he government district and the downtown district would be mixed here. All input would be nice... I'm begging you *is on knees* Now.. as for the rest of the story. While the Representative of Phoenoia flies over to the SCJU headquaters to hear a final verdict, the rest of the Council of Mayors, or C.O.M, have began to formulate a defense, in preparation for aid. Tango Pennisula volenteered to be the Naval Headquaters, and began recondition and constructing a suitable naval port. Thousands of the citzen wre there at the dedication cerimony, and to welcome the first ship of the Phoenoia Navy, aptly named the S.S. Phoenoia. Meanwhile, Silver City took on the responsibility in become the Air Force Headquarters, with construction on the new airfield base. But the biggest setback was an attack in Silver City, in the norther part of the city known as Roland Hill. This mostly industrial city was begining to gain a good economy by being the largest producer of the military equipment for Phoenoia. However, in what witness said were Pacifica fighter, a building was blombed, unleasing a bioloigic and chemical agent forcing the evacutation of teh survivors. Although the Emperor has not formally taken responsibility of the attacks, it is clear he supports it, currently the hill sits abandoned, witht eh exception of the military Aerial Defense Radar, and the Nuclear Powerplant. Rest of the city.. is not.... In a show of Defiance... the C.O.M unvieled the new national flag... a variation of the former state flag, and have changed all the maps in the region to show the new nation.

Anyone know where I can find some military BAT or modds? That, and I'm looking for waterfront-like modds and BATs

Well.. I had forgottent hat mod was on.. and yoru right.. it didn't look good... While preparing my region.. I encountered an issue, which pretty much resulted in my losing the region.. poor me.. So while I wait to hear fromt eh SCJU, and rebuild the region.. I offer two begining region pics. The first I'll just way is the first years of colonization of the island.. Please note that the area circled in red is where Takri Hillside used to be... ok so its not entirely accuret timeline.. but oh well. After the attack on Takri, along with their Declaration, the people of Phoenoia renamed the northern mountain range of their region from Sausland, named after the Emperor of Pacifca, to the Takri Range, in memory of the +16K victums of the attack. This move more than infuriated the Emperor, and publicaly announced that the entire southern region were enemies to the state. With Pacifica having access to ten times the amount of military strength as Phoenoia, it would appear that unless someone intervenes, this new nation may be be formed at all. This region shot I took a few minutes ago.. to show you in hard at work. Here you can see two major cities. On, ont he pennisula, is where the naval base is located, Tango Pennisula. To the north, is what will be the largest city in Phoenia, Silver City. That city will extend to the mountain ranges, and on the north side of teh middle hills, is where teh capital city will be located... Paradise Valley.. which is also where the Declaration and its sighing took place. Now.. any advice to get this region populus and militarily active would be appricated.. and I would also want to request if someone could make a landmark where I can say the sighning took place. Keep in mind that this is modern times. Whoever does this will be honored in Phoenoia.

If anyone could.. could someone design an arcitectural wonder for the capital city of Paradise Valley, in my region of Phoenoia? And my second request.. I would like some worn-torn buildings and places... that would help greatly. Full credit will be given.

Im hoping this works.. As part of the Phoenoia's plea to the SCJUnion, the people documented the worst disaster in our history. As the oppressive civil war raged, the Pacifica Empire launched a strike against a mostly neutral city on the northern border. That city, Takri Hillside, was just a peaceful mountain town that offered a winter resort to tourists. The town was attacked with a barraged of missles, and ended with a nuclear exposion, completely wiping away the city. This is last known picture of the city of Takri Hillside. a mountain community with a University, Farmlands, and an Industrial sector. The Pacifica Empire argue that the University was training rebels, however there was no evidence of that. The first strike we had thought was an accident, and immediatly started rescue operations. The missle had hit at the heart of the residential sector, destroying the most historial neighborhoods. It soon became clear that thsi was no accident, and a community with nothing to do with the war was under seige. This and the following photo was taken by a mountain climber. Fires raged, and soon it was clear that few would survive this. The Fire department and air field tried it's best, however they were over run, and taken out by another missle. Just as soon as it started, it was over, or so we thought. Little did we know that Pacifica had authroized the use of nuclear stirke. This photo was taken two week later.. when we were finally able to get to the region. It is now too radioactive for any use. We submit this report as a record of the atrocities that the Pacifca Empire has committed.
