Ignore my last comment folks, I fixed the problem. I was saving the config.bmp and map under maxis/simcity4/region folder it should have been under documents&settings...thanks for the future help anyway :*)
Help..can't get it.I created a new flat region (Lovable land). I created a folder under maxis/simcity/regions and named it Lovable Land. Their I saved the config.bmp and the jpg of map but when I try to generate it I get a message saying "cannot generate map is 2049x2049 should be 1025x1025.
This is the best representation of an actual region in the world. You rock man! If its not too much to ask can you do the same for Latin America. Oh but make the Caribbean islands playable especially the Dominican Republic. P-L-E-A-S-E!! lol :)
