ok i downloaded city region pack which has madison, boston, la etc... and i did everything as follows and im still not getting any land textures, just the tile style and setup. when i go into the region and load it up, then hold shift, alt, ctrl and r i do not get a dialogue box... what gives? please help! below is what the read me text says and i will list everything ive done First, you must put the import.dat file in your plugins folder. When your region is finished, please remember to take the plugin out of your plugins folder so as not to interfere with other maps' rendering. Special thanks to Andy80586 for creating the mod. MAP INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1) Create a new folder called [Region Name] in your ..My Documents\Sim City 4\Regions directory. (DONE, IVE NOT ONLY NAMED ONE AND TRIED IT UNER REGION NAME, BUT ALSO BOSTON AND A NAME I WANTED TO USE) 2) Put the corresponding config.bmp in the new folder (DONE) 3) Run your SimCity 4 game (DONE) 4) Open the [Region Name] region (DID THIS) 5) On your keyboard, press and hold down 'ctrl' + 'alt' + 'shift' + 'r'--this should bring up a dialogue box (NO DIALOGUE BOX POPS UP) 6) Browse to the folder with the [regionname.jpg], find "[regionname.jpg]", and open this file. 7) This should start the rendering. hmm yea for some reason it just wont work. oh well. no need to cry over spilt milk, guess ill just keep trying and just create my own, thanks again!

thanks for quick reply, and no im not. im actually on a labtop. i also forgot to add that i tried to pm mallow as well like it says, but i cant get the pm content to load. i was having a problem earlier but that could be due to the very foul weather we were experiencing earlier today.

hello everyone. ive been on this site on and off and never registered. now that i have i got a few questions i would like to see if you fellow sim lovers could help me with. ive done alot of searching around but i just cant find how to use the plugins that i download properly. i also looked for the simcity4 dl manager and nothing. or at least i cannot find it. im geting kinda sad and depressed bc i cannot get anything to funciton properly? =(... please help! thank you very much hotsauce =)~ ps: as soon as i get everything up and running im going to try and present a nice city journal for you all to see. again, thanks in advance... im off to the hospital to work but ill be back this evening. thank you simtropolis world!

hmm ok so i did the simoleon mod thats one of the most common downloads. i unzipped and relocated it under mydoc/sc4/plugins and when i go to play the game still dont get anything... and from what i read and understood, the simoleon modd or mod does not require anything else... argh im going nuts here pleaaaaaaaaaze helP!!!
