This is so extensive! I can believe that it took 7 months to make this city. It's incredible.
-
That is a really great looking city. I like how this is looking. Keep up the great work!

The suburbs are fantastic, but the downtown has a bit too much repetition. You might want to check out the STEX for some great downtown skyscrapers. Personally, I really like Ill Tonkso and SimRabbit.

The Sea View Islands Biggest Update of Grek Island!

Fern, you photoshopped it all weird. Looks like it should be nice. Looking forward to seeing the new island. -
Nice farmburbia there. Your city certainly is coming along.

Wow. That is freaky. I don't even know what that building looks like. I wonder what curse-like effects it will have on the little unsuspecting town?
-
Like, perhaps when the site is released? Unless you're hinting at a release date that would be sooner rather than later. As far as I'm concerned, highrises are universal. That building could be anywhere from down the street to halfway around the world. Personally, I do like to micromanage my commercial districts if I'm looking for aesthetics, rather than just a whole bunch of jobs. Anyone who's ever had a medium density commercial park fill up with about 90 LeTourneau Architects or had 12 Wren Insurances downtown knows what I'm talking about. Some buildings just grow more aggressively than others. The sad truth is that if you're looking for aesthetics and realism, sometimes you do have to micromanage. The same goes for specific wealth levels in residential areas. Although, it would be fantastic if you didn't have to.

Nice region shot! Looks great zoomed out.

That is the best and only Simcity re-creation of Niagara Falls I've ever seen. However if there were a million others I'm sure yours would still be #1. Simply gorgeous.
-
That is one neat looking private garden. Everything in this CJ is so colourful... Wow, so pools are the norm some places? Guess the schools in Calgary are just underfunded!
-
Ooh! Pretty. There's a pretty steep cliff off into that river. Watch your step!
-
More great stuff. I love this driving CJ.
-
Ooh, am I seeing some Parisian buildings? Love the streets.
-
Nice! Yeah, everything looks better when it's been filled out. Good to see that the skyscrapers are starting to taper off into medium density. Maybe some rowhouse neighbourhoods next?
-
Looks nice except for the grey street texture. Nice start.
-
Oh, the suspense! Great idea.
-
No, not King Draco! I'm sure he will be missed. His country's landscapes are gorgeous. Good that you found some old timey European buildings, too.
-
Wow, that's an extensive high school. Sure is huge. Really wealthy looking too. I mean really, who has a pool in their school? What's more, you've even made the school look colourful.
-
Looking good once again. Love the train.

Scottopia It's a nice looking jungle so far, although it looks a little odd when the huge buildings taper off into nothing.

Yes, I've since noticed that. I guess I should keep up on my rank. -
Paris city journal - Update 2!(Sep. 18th)
edmonton_stinks replied to Gandalf18's topic in SC4 City Journals
Wall to wall Paris stuff is very well used. Just one thing: the abandoned buildings don't look very attractive in the overhead shot. Is there anything you can do about them? -

Looks nice, except how the highway dead ends in random places. Is there going to be some future construction around there? Good use of the mayor's villa. Is there anything Simgoober can't do? -
Mmm, dat's good terraforming! Gorgeous landscapes.
