  3. Re-Zoning

Hi all. Is there a way to re-zone say a low density unskilled to a medium density zone without demolishing the houses in 2011? Like in SC4 you just dropped a zone on top of an existing one and it automatically changed to medium when the demand was there. PS. I have come straight from SC4 missing out '09 altogether. Thanks

  7. Stex DVD's question

No probs thanks buddy. I thought I read on a few packs "you must uninstall any previous versions of this pack before installing the new one" Ill try installing them all tonight anyway, Worst comes to the worst, all I have to do is re-install SC4 again and delete all the packs which I have on CD anyway, No biggy really. Thanks.
  8. Stex DVD's question

Hi everyone Im sorry about the *****ie question but I just want to know and dont know anywhere else I can get the answer. My question is about the dependency packs thats on the two DVD's. I have only got the DVD's a few days now and all this stuff is really new to me, I have been playing Sim City 4 since the day it was released but I have never gone and downloaded anything for it. Anyway, With ALL the dependency packs that are on the DVD's I find it hard to know which ones I need and which ones I dont need, Is it poossible to just download all the packs and then just pick and choose whatever building/item I want? Or does the packs conflict with each other? Thanks for your help peeps.
  9. Is YOUR Plugins Folder Bulging?

Hi Artman & sithlrd. Thanks for your reply. I have both the stex DVD's and its all the packs on there I'm talking about. There will be 1 pack and about 5 versions of it, (v1,v2,v3Etc) Its this that I'm connfused about, Will I just install all the packs on the DVD's or does v4 conflict with v5, Do you know what I mean? Space isn't a problem on this computer either, Its strictly for gaming.
  10. Is YOUR Plugins Folder Bulging?

My good god!!! You guys must have shed loads of stuff in your plugin folders. I have a bit in mine but NOTHING compared to you lot. I have a question as Im very new to all this STEX stuff and plugins. I have been playing SC4 since it came out but never bothered downloading stuff for it, I just played it as it came out of the box. I have the two STEX DVD's now though and I have a quick question if you all dont mind. Q. When you download say a new sexy type of bus stop for example, you might need a dependency pack to go with it, Well my question is how in the name of god do you keep track of all the packs and all the downloads? I mean, When I got the DVD's first everything was fine, I was just adding new hotels and new buidings and cars and the like,Then I saw some trees that change with the seasons and I thought "I'll have some of that" So I went to install it and it told me I needed to install "Markstreepack" or whatever its called aswell (cant remember the name). So then I went to the packs page on the DVD and there was about 5 different Markstreepack on there, Thats when I just said to hell with this and I went and played something else. So basically I just want to know if there's an easy way to find what packs I need with the items (Downloads) I want to use? I'm sure this is just me being stupid and dumb but I would really appreciate any help from anyone? Cheers guys.
