Wow i love ur ground rail! Its exactly what ive been looking for! Where did u get the fences? Theyre the perfect urban gl subway who did them? Are they on the stex?

Hahahaha skyliner22 thats so funny! Although i do wonder how are they going to fit all of those in? that sounds like half of manhattan. But at least NYC has great public transportation i wonder how will LA handle that? They already have huge problems with the highways now. Also are the LA ppl suddenly going to start puffing their chests and acting like theyre the best because theyre finally going to have a real skyline not a ton of little ones? I hope not although i am happy for them with as many ppl that live out their they deserve somethin to enjoy about going downtown.

No one from Baltimore or D.C around? Im dissapointed in the lack of pictures able to be found. Does anyone know where i could look because id really like to show some of my local interchanges.

BigCityNY: You don't need any of those programs for your plugins to work, and you don't need to reinstall your plugins when you download any of those programs. Whenever you download, make sure to read the STEX description, and read the readme, and download all of the dependencies. Dependencies are files that are not in the download (but your lots depend on those files in order to work as intended). ok im sorry let me clarify i want to put tons of buildings of all sorts that i download from the stex and not have them pop up in the game as boxes. i want to have maybe one city thats nothing but tons and tons of bats and outrqageously huge skyscrapers. id like all of my modds to work.(well actually i think they do but still)does that help u out? I downloaded gmax but i read on one of the message boards and someone was saying that once u download gmax and the other programs u have to redownload all of ur stex stuff if u want it to pop up in the game as the buildings and not boxes. is that true? and again sorry for confusing u.

they do all have road connections and there is water running but they all say abandoned due to lack of water even though i went to the length of laying the pipes under the buildings just to make sure they got the water. why are they still becoming abandoned? its ruining my perfect skyline plan

ok i downloaded the lot editor can this open all of the files or do i have to download the other 2 u mentioned?

all my downloads are quickly becoming dilapadated what can i do to stop or at least delay them?

Thanks auto i was just making sure so i didnt mess anything else up in that folder.O and now i have another problem(im chock full of them)when i downloaded the hole digging lots and tried to look at the read me it wouldnt pop up adobe said it couldn open it so i took a wild guess and just took the ones i wanted and placed them in the plugin folder was that the right thing to do?

After reading wat ppl have said and im having a hard time not laughing. For all of those who keep saying everything in Dubai is to big WAKE UP! HAvent u ever seen a futuristic movie? Like irobot or anything else set after 2030. Skyscrapers go up which means eventually yes all new buildings will be over 100 floors on average. Dubai is just the first of its kind. Most like i always thought some city would have to break the ice, and possibly in another 10yrs or so when ppl become ajusted to really really tall buidings there will be another race like in the 1930s when i think the chrystler bulding was built all of the other architects wanted to out do each other and thus we have the empire state building. I hate to tell u but the future of skyscrapers is super tall, multi occupation ,into the clouds,and ppl living on different lvls to accomodate the hieght. That is most likely the future and u might want to get used to that idea cause its very posseible.

Ok ive read all of these posts and i just have a few thoughts. First off why would u compare Ny to toronto? Theyre totally different, Ny has a totally different history,it is one of the big 5,probaly(but dont quote me) highest tourism u dont see ppl saying o i want to go to toronto(no offense to canadians), does have the Mets and yankees(mets stadium is shea stadium in queens),maybe not as safe as toronto but their size is totally uncomparable toronto may be big but NY is the biggest city in the U.S and 2nd to LA when u count surrounding areas, its subway is better than torontos because it has a history and is constantly growing(theyre still working on a new line which i cant remeber), although toronto is growing more ppl go to Ny than toronto and theres no comparison Ny is where ppl go to make something of themselves its where dreams come true,NY is the american fashion capital and one of the 5 capitals (toronto isnt even metioned), and ethnically mixed? come on ppl NY is like the biggest mixed population in North America. O and population NY is probaly twice the size of toronto if not triple. NYs population grows everyday and the last census i saw put NY at 11mil and that was last year. So in conclusion i think it is unfair to compare toronto a CANADIAN city to Ny an american city. Instead compare Toronto with another canadian city and NY to an American city because u cant compare two things that are unequal its an unfair advantage. And about the modern skyscarpers yes toronto may have more new modern ones but that just shows that NY has a history of skyscrapers that outnumber all the skyscrapers in toronto.An theres new construction in NY all the time if u dont believe me go look at skysrcapercity.com there are tons and tons of pics of planned skyscarpers. O and the skyline of NY is so much bigger all of u history haters need to look at a pic of Manhattans skyline and shut up theres plenty of new and old mixed together which is what makes NY beautiful. I think hands down NY is better but one day in like 50yrs toronto may have the backup needed to go head to head with NY but not yet ,not now.
