Hello people, welcome to my first CJ! I hope you like it ive tryed my best and will continue to do so! Ok well im Mankk I will try and update as much as possible about once every two days mostly more than that though ^^. Well waterfall Gardens is a Region which will be well hopefully eco-friendly and have lots of flora to increase its looks! The first updates will be on the city: Waterfall Gardens Central This ofcourse like in the name is the central city of waterfall Gardens and is the start of all of Waterfalls gardens. I have got about 18 pictures which took me ages to make into JPEGS but there you go. Finally found a good image hosting site too which is great so off to a good start I hope. All I can say is I hope you like it and Ive tryed the best I can do! Sorry before I start I just want to say that I will try and reply to as many of you as possible though the course of this CJ so wish me luck and lets begin! DAY 1: These are pictures of WGC(Waterfall Gardens Central) before it has been incorporated.(Sorry about spellings) Finaly after some interesting terraforming I have setteled down and founded the city here. The city has now officially started construction. Here the first roads have been layed. The start of a nice new residential neighbourhood called SpringDale! (All animals and habitats were carefully moved into a new area which has been made especially. The leveling has started for SpringDale. ...and zoning has begun. Flora is starting to be added now, so all the animals can move back in! The last bit of Flora has been added to SpringDale. SpringDale has now been completed.(Resedential areas anyway ^^) Construction has started on a nice new powerplant. (Eco friendly ofcourse) The Dam has now been put into place. (Some leveling happens behind the scenes later) Heres the leveling ready for the resevoirs to be erected. The resevoirs are now in place and the flora is beginning to be created.(Flora is plopped as growing takes too long sorry) The first trees are in place. I enjoyed doing this bit and I think the dam looks more professional with the open grass. More trees have now been added to make this place into a nice habitat for the animals we had to move for a while when I created SpringDale. Here is the day shot of the dam being finished. The dam is fully completed and heres a nice little night shot. Well thats the end of my first day with this CJ and I can't wait to update again. If Im free I might start that this evening, although give you the update tommorow. I hope you enjoyed it I know I did and I look forward to your comments. Tips welcome. A quick note sorry, but Develpoing macedon by sorchin really inspired me to make this although alot of my own ideas came into it aswell and I hope I have gone of in my own..what should I say...style. Ok here it is the real DAY 5! Replys: Bat: Thankyou very much I did try hard . The golf course was fun to make although its only small nothing spectacular yet. Ok well without further ado this is the real DAY 5 and I personnally think its a great update and shows good development of the city so far + im using a money cheat just to let you know so here it is... DAY 5! Here is the new SpringDale district again although i've revamped a little bit... Here is a new commercial section... A main road in SpringDale... More of this sector gets built with more commercial setting up...(Civic buildings are hidden all around...) The golf course has got a make over and some nice rural farms have been added(In all my work I tryed not to use a grid system unless I thought it was needed) This is a picture of the development so far (Note I added some new housing near the farms and a better bus system) Here the farms before the golf course had changed (pictures order went a bit funny :S ) Can't remeber who I think it was deever who asked about the rail, but hey here it is being put to more use... A finished picture of that area so far... Im starting work on a nice new beach... Beach is there and some nice flora added... Some more farms just above and a parking area (was in previous pic) Finished beach at evening time... Finished beach at dawn...(I wish I could live in one of those houses) As promised the new canal system...(Sorry for not doing the new bit in teaser pics just I wanted to get day 5 sorted...) I thought mayor mankk would enjoy having his house here! The canal is finished! END OF DAY 5! Well day 5 has ended and day 6 will soon follow...where you can expect the hilly area in teaser pics to be attempted and also more devlopment like a night pic in town and an airport (maybe). I will add some more nice beachs and make the canal bigger...also I will show you the industrial area just small which I made to forfill needs...Its high dense so soon hopefully it will go high tech! (Tips welcome) Anyway I hope you enjoyed that update and I think it is one of my best yet + I have new terrain mod! (I'll try and get together a list of all mods I use for next update! Hello, everyone this is just a quick reply but I would like to apolagise for not being on yesterday, as I was out for they day I did not bring the next update! However today I should be able to give it too you and I hope you like it...I tryed really hard to make it interesting. It will have the new revamped newspaper and more pics . Im also hoping to bring back the Waterfall gardens, style...(If you know what I mean). Well sorry I just confirmed that I will be left at home today, and im alllowed on so I will get an update done then and reply to your comments... P.S Sorry for starting again people, I don't know what else I can say but I feel really bad I just couldn't build on that landscape as Im not very experianced. Anyhow I hope it will improve! Day 4! Replys: Hey today im not going to reply to all your posts as I have started my whole CJ again although I hope I don't disappoint you by changing things. I still have the same concept and I am keeping many things. The only thing is the hilly terrain I made too hilly... This time though theres hills and other different parts, which should make 'New Waterfall Gardens' a good success...I will continue to update as much as possible everyday/every other day. I have made it so that the population should be larger and I should be able to forfill needs slightly better. It is also hopefully just as scenic as the old waterfall gardens central! About this update: This update is a big one with the most pictures I've ever had in an update! I hope you will enjoy it and like it as much or even more than before, so without further ado lets begin... Day 4! From the beginning... This is the ocean which will soon turn into the new waterfall gardens! Terraforming is finished so they were pictures of the place before it had anything built on it! Here I have started the new dam. Mayor mankk "waterfall gardens is a very eco-friendly place and we wish to keep it that way..." Here is the dam being leveled out and more scenic... The dams are now in place... Mayor mankk "Get that water into place and make sure those animals are kept safely in the wild!" They now have all there water safely in place and the animals have been moved to a just as nice habitat. Adding flora so the birds can all move back in... Mayor mankk "I heard a long time ago this used to be the site of the famous moai heads, moai are those weird heads you sometimes see on islands with long faces..." The dams are now finished and im starting to construct the new station. There is now a frieght station there so that industrial buisness will get help. Mayor mankk "Did I hear the word industrial...? Make sure its all high tech or farms!" The station is now finished with all its flora in place... I've started planning for a new SpringDale district resedential... Finally at day break the zoning is in place... Flora and a small comercial district to add on so that all the locals can get there grocerys...(Freshly grown ofcourse) Mayor mankk "Ahhh...thats what I like to see, people moving in to waterfall gardens central! Make sure they all know that were eco-friendly and to recycle. Im sure they do as there is a dam to provide powerw which is a big hint im sure." A small golf course has been erected for all the local citizens to play at, im sure the mayor will be pleased if we get into the championships at waterfall gardens golf tournament. Day time again and I think the golf course is looking good with all its flora in place.Might pop down there myself and have a little game later... A more focused picture of the golf course... Brilliant start! I seriously can't belive I inspired somebody myself...I've only just started the whole Cj making thing aswell...I really am amazed that you thought it was that good? Anyway back to yours like I said Great start! Love the beach, (moves in right now). Well if you would like to make terrain look slightly different try using a terrain mod. It just improves terrain a bit. Other than that thought great start and I love the island, brilliant dam too. Well done my friend. Mankk

This is just a quick post but thankyou so much for your support! I think I will make a fresh start and have the waterfall in the middle and also the dam/dams around the outside. Also next I think it shall be more rural + better planning! THankyou very much and I hope you like my new Idea when I get a good start on it! Thankyou!

Ok people, please don't kill me but its for the better! Waterfall Gardens Central is driving me insane I seem to be trying to create a city on the top of a mountain which as im sure you all know if no easy task! If you will I want to propose an idea to help improve this CJ and make it more interesting for you all. I would like to have another shot at making this CJ! I will not close this thread and it will continue as it left off (Day 4) although day 4 the whole place wil start again and this time I will make sure it isn't 50000ft up! It will mean I can make this CJ more interesting and update more often and plus before I start on update 4 I will try and download some new mods to improve it all! There will be a great night life too! Ok well thats it for this message...Im going out now thankyou for your support and comments and please reply to this one as I need as many views as I can get! Please also could you tell me how I could improve 'it' as I will take that on board. Thankyou. Amerikaner: Great yeah well as were both really in the same place all I can say is keep at it, if you compare mine to some other peoples its really nothing but just try your best and people will recognise that. UnkleS27: Hey thanks yeah the terrain is doing my head in but hey, im trying lol. I think the next city in the region will not be quite as hill driven but still some good terrain I hope! DarkEldar: Hey man thanks! Im glad you like the terrain hehe although its a bum to build on but you get used to it. Im glad you like it however! Whats in this update? Ok well im not going to say much about this update accept I think I could do better. I think however it is ok and have alot of room for improvement! Also a litle something i've also added...(Wait and see) Day 2! Lets Begin! Here as you can see I have photographed a small area, which will be turned into the main civic buildings I need! Here is a day pic of the land, a bit more leveled now I think. Now im leveling it out properly. I have added a basic road network although this gets changed later. I've added in some civic buildings. Completely random? Or is it... Ok here i've moved just a little to the left and just sorted out the SpringDale residential area a little bit. Here you can see SpringDale new resedential and the civic buildings alltogether. I decided that I would change the road layout in the civic buildings area to make it easer to navigate round. An evening shot of the finished civic buildings area. Heres some piping I put in so that my medium resedentials would grow properly and dense when I get it! Just to show you where the pumps are in connection with the main city... Here I have completely decided to refurblish the commmercial district. Leveling has begun. Zoning and basic flora is in! All flora is in and finished. Well thats the end of day 3. More will come soon I hope like the development of that area I showed you earlyer. Also a much better transport system! but now, I present to you my most ambitious plan yet! (Well not really but...) I give you... Waterfall Gardens Newspaper issue 1 A welcome note. Yes hello and welcome to the first issue of the Waterfall Gardens newspaper! We hope to give you all the latest gossip and news going around town. New building projects planned for the future and interesting storys. Don't forget and overview of what has happened in the history of Waterfall Gardens. How it all started out: It all started when a man now to be called our mayor, had a dream. He dreamed he could create a haven for many and provide a secure home and work enviroment for us all, while letting mother nature run its course. Our mayor (Mankk) is a very creative and calm man and just loves nature, and being a millionaire ofcourse he had the money to do something with this dream. His dream became Waterfall Gardens! He hasn't let us down since, with all his ambitious plans he surely is amazing. However his most ambitous plan awaits us yet... History of Waterfall Gardens: Waterfall Gardens started out a island which was just perfect for mankk's plan to become realality... Gradually more and more parts of the city started to grow... Untill we have it as it is today! New developments: Here are some pictures of a new development at the back of the dam... A night shot and it has a nice waterfall... Some more leveling out I see... Ahh finally it's done... Mayor Mankk's Speech: "People of Waterfall Gardens, thankyou for all your encouraging support and im sure the future developments which are planned will satisfy your needs and comforts. Thankyou for all your support again and I shall reward you all with these new developments!" Finishing note: Ahhh...well all I can say is it looks brilliant and im sure Waterfall Gardens has alot of potential. END OF UPDATE! Well thats the end of this update...I hope you liked it! Oh just one question I wish to ask you all...do you think I should speed things up a bit and take say 2 screenshots of each development section...a before and after screenshot as I think this could speed things up a little bit plus make things more interesting. Thankyou for your as normal kind and quick comments! Just been reading the thread about people flaming bashing and other bad things, well feel free to comment constructivly if you find something you think needs improving. If you don't like the whole CJ though please don't post! As it doesn't really get you anywhere. Like I said I have only just started but I aim to be a kind a caring CJ'er and member of ST. So people who have posted before and after this comment please help stop any flamers, bashers or any other kind of UNKIND crit. WE/I (I hope its we lol) WILL NOT TOLERATE IDIOTS WHO ARE HERE FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF TAKING AWAY ARE FUN! Day 2! Welcome everybody to day two of my journal, waterfall gardens! Replys: Krio: Thankyou mate im glad you liked the start, and im sure I will have forfilled you idea of terrain in this update! (I hope) Soapy: Thankyou soapy glad you liked it too. I tryed to make this update interesting. IDS2: Thanks IDS2 I tryed hard on the dam, and it fits nicely with the eco-friendly system I think. I will try not to be put down but comments which are just there for help purposes, and the other ones I'll just ignore if there mean! ^^ Well enough of this chatter I bet you want to know.... Whats in this update? Well today, I have gone to the green side of waterfall gardens and added, and nice waterfall nature park. Although as you will see things did not quite go as planned! Day 2! Ok day 2 lets begin! Ok here im starting to erect the nature park. I've added some water. Here I was leveling out the top half of the land and adding the first two waterfalls. The rest of the waterfalls are now being put into place. Here a visitor center is being created, then... A change of plan, it didn't look quite right... This is an aerial shot of the new plan. Here im leveling out the place where the water will go. The water and part of the new visitor centre is in place. I've added waterfalls and changed the visitor centre a bit. Heres the whole thing finished. Heres another shot of the bottom half. (with waterfall above it.) Here is now a place close to springdale resedential, this is the new commercial district. Leveling has started for this new district, it is now nearly ready for zoning. The first bit of zoning has been added. More leveling needs to be done in the middle though. The SpringDale commercial district is finished! Here is the powerplant I did on day 1 but with more flora all around and the power plant now has some wind turbines to help. (Still eco-friendly) Well thats the end of day 2 I hope you enjoyed it, although day 3 I can promise you will be more interesting. Lets see whats... Coming next: In day 3 you should look forward to see alot more civic buildings, more zoning, and a few other things. A new resort too. (I will post a teaser pic sometime before next update. Qnznative: Thankyou and, as far as your questions go you can do what I've done I started playing properly about 2-3 months ago and finnally downloaded a few mods and things (Whiet beach mod and PEGS dam+water) this is how I got started and begun the making of WGC. homeandaway: Thankyou for your comment, and I only hope the J will get better and better.
