Trees help a little, but for the most part, an efficient mass transit system is needed. I use road top mass transit so I can place a subway stop on every corner of my city. It is expensive but because I can start zoning denser because of less traffic, it starts to make a profit.

Thanks for the replies. So what I am getting is that everyone just uses custom lots in their cities and not the vanilla schools and hospitals. On another note, I am having trouble registering for the LEX at SC4 Devotion. I was able to register for the main site just fine but when I register for the LEX, I always get an error. Anyone know whats wrong?

Now that I have created a region with a population of around 200,000, I am making high density cities. Other than commute time, the only problem that I have run into is having all my schools and hospitals grossly overcapacity. I was able to aleviate the hospitals a little by building the desiese reaserch center but the hospitals that I still have are overcrowded, even at full funding. I have the same problem with all my schools, even the big ones. Is the only solution to decrease the bus and ambulance funding to lower the radius to get less users? If so, the only solution would be to build more building which I don't have the money to fund. I also searched on the exchange for high capacity buildings but couldn't find any.

Thanks, the link for Pegasus was what I was looking for. Apparently you can't really make a shoreline without cheating. Do you have any links to where I can get some cool industrial ports? I downloaded Pegasus's garbage dock and that works great but I really don't have anything else.

Whenever I want to make a port area on the water, I am never able to do it. The shoreline is too steep or just not at the right angle. What are your tips for making a perfect shoreline?
