Well I want to use single trams with no trailers attatched, but I thought you could have it so that you have single trams with various different skins

Ive done the BAT Tutorial and it was good to help out a beginner but I was wondering how you create buildings such as skyscrapers whose wall consist of only windows. Like buildings when you look at them appear to be made out of glass. The tutorial showed how to make the standard wall with windows in them, but how does one create skyscrapers with only windows for walls. Can someone explain this to me. Thanks

Well I'm wondering if plugins are prioritized or something. What I mean is, does Simcity 4 choose particular plugins over others. Becuase it seems like out of the many plugins that i have dowloaded and installes, only a couple of them appear, repititevly. And I've played long enough to know that its not becuase i have my architectural setting on a particular style. Also does it matter if you have all your plugins organized into many different sub folders, or just having them out in the open within the plugin folder. Becuase now I have them organized intricatly with many subfolders, but I'm starting to wonder if that hinders the ability to load some plugins, thus bringing me back to my problem of having the same plugins being used over and over again. Just some things I would like to know

your right, and thats probably why. I just feel like its unusual. But thats just probably it. Thank You all Oh and my Landmarks appear just fine, its only in concern to the growables, but I will have patience and see.

Yeah, I unzip them. But like i said loading time isn't my concern. I just want ALL of my custom content being utilized in SC4, not just a select few that are being used over and over again. (this is all regarding to growable lots).

Thanks for the info but loading time is not an issue for me. I am fortunate to have a very fast computer. I just wish all the plugins you put in your plugins folders would be used. I can estimate that only 15%-20% of the plugins i put in actually appear in the game (regarding growable lots) and they appear repetitevely.

Well im just concerned about the custom content And what exactly will the XTool do?

We are in the process of organizing all the ideas, so this means we are starting to get this project moving. The more people we can get, the better.

Yeah I understand it would take a lot of file space, im a little disspointed cause I wanted to see a sim city version of New York City on my own computer, and I dont have the time to make one but oh well lol keep up the great work. It's coming along nicely. No Rush! lol

Ive made another post about Coke and Pepsi, but which one do you prefer out of these 3. I like them all in their own distinct way. Sprite i like becuase its a classic but whats up with those sublymonal commercials, they're really wierd Sierra mist is alright its got the basic lemon lime taste 7UP has that crisp taste but personally i think it tastes the same regardless if its 100% natural or not lol

I have vista and SCTerraformer works fine on my computer maybe its gotta do with the resolution, many things dont work simply because of the monitors resolution try fiddling it with it and see if it works

You can download the Super Demand Ordinance in the Modds and Downloads sections and that will get your demand high making skyscrapers grow

I agree a thread is good but a website is more organized. Oh and by the way, this is the greatest idea ever lol. Also, i dont know if this has been metioned yet or not, we could also have a system where the buildings dont appear repeatedly. An example is like not having a hundred wren insurance or other buildings, but only having 1 or even 2 and when it is demolsihed, it can grow again. This will add soooo much mor variety to the game. Custom content is what this whole website is about, and if many people join to create custom content for this propsed game, we will not have to worry about having a deficit of buildings or lot. This may seem like a challenge but I beileive it can be pulled off. Joerg, you have a bold plan but I want you to know that Im with you 100% of the way and would be glad to help out, just gimme somethin to do lol.

What I hate is the inevitable pollution problem from transportaion and the way that zoning HAS to be quadratic and not free from ex. curved properties that you normally need for cul-de-sacs and stuff. Also I hate how stupid sims are when they plan their commute. Just take the freakin subway or train when its only 1 or 2 tiles away. But no,probably more than 2/3 continue using cars. Also, I wished there was weather and seasons. but thats for another thread. But over all I bilieve thats its good qualities transcend its bad ones.

I like Dr. Pepper too but not a big fan of Root Beer but thats just me
