piracy is alright, its a centuries old concept. however, you pay for quality. sure you get the game, or movie, or music. but with the game, chances are if theres a multiplayer you can't play online. the movie is great but its stuck on your computer, and its actually cheaper to buy a single movie than to buy dual layer dvd's to burn the same quality movie. and with music, mp3's are usually subpar in quality, but that doesn't mean theres not any hi-fidelity mp3's out there. i remember when cd's first came big, infact i started buying music on cassettes! the cd gave us bigger pictures in the jewel case, and a better digital format. i will buy a movie i want. and i'll forever pay for games. i'd like to throw this a bit off topic, but in the music part i've discovered vinyl. yea before my time. but its a completely different music experience. i search for things to listen to on vinyl. however my last understanding of current [it could of been changed by now] is if you legally purchased the music in any single format your legally able to download said music. so say you own led zepplin iv on vinyl, you could in theory legally download it by P2P means..

the west would never declare war on russia over something like this, even if it violates another nations sovereignty. we didn't in afghanistan in the 80's.

Dateline New London: In a feat of excellence from behind, the flames come out to burn the phantoms in a 6-5 overtime win. Easily the closest game between the two yet, with thousands of fans on the edge of their seats. Now New London is off to River City Thursday, to defend their hard work against a so far unbeatable team. Before that, fans have of course begun celebrations with Lincoln Center being the Epicenter. Crowd Control has been lightly enforced, with only security beef ups happening when the team goes to and from practice, as fans mob the scene to see their heros.

For everyone who's interested, we hold our meetings every Tuesday at 8.quote> yea, like i ever go to bohan anymore... i've had some pretty killer deaths lately. the best so far has to be getting blown out of the sky after the car i was sniping from the roof of was hit with a rocket launcher. the death scenes are cinematic in an artful way..also i'm speeding over a bridge on a bike only to get cut off, fly into the concrete sidewall and off the thing, still alive, until hitting the opposing side of the bridges pylon for a final blow...

well sense its been mentioned twice.... Civilization is where i started when it game to the gaming world. which like the sim cities series, is another series i follow closely. for example, had i not got Civ II on release day [which wasn't easy in 1996], i doubt i would of later got SC3K on release day either... and do we really want nostalgia pictures on the floppy disks?

anyone remember the coke cards from like 1999?

Dateline Waterford: Almost as if as promised, the subway series heads to game 7. Tomorrow night, all eyes will be tuned in as Waterford hosts the last game of the series against the Flames. Long sold out within hours of being announced, tickets are reportedly going for as high as $120 dollars a peice just for the chance to be their. Both teams are in their induction season in the STHL, but only one will move on for a chance at the Gretzky cup. Only one thing can be certain at this point, River City the team that the winner will face, better be prepared for some serious hockey.

SC2K, when it was new and on floppy disks. i notice it now though that it's greatly influenced how i build cities in SC4...

i really wonder why at this point in Mr. Wright's life he's still letting EA stick it to him.... i had a passing interest in spore, not one to buy on game day, but to add to the list of check out when you can things. i don't buy things with added spyware [which it'll probally have if its secure locked etc]. EA is becoming the AOL of video games [abit 10 years later].

the driving mechanic got a little realistic. now its unwise to floor it upon entering a car [ya know like real life]. however i felt they should of added a dash view. i have a feeling more radio stations/custom tunes option is one of the things we'll be able to download in the future.
