City of 4.30.09 Here is the new daily set of photos from activites in Texca Hills. The fifth quadrant finished popularization today, along with the grand opening of the Thousand Palms Casino Resort in the 5th quadrant (Thousand Palms). 9 new casino resorts opened to beautiful palm covered streets and store fronts. But to understand this resort, you must understand the Texca Hills map. Here is the Texca Hills Quadrant System. The quadrants follow a swirl pattern, beginning with Downtown, or Central Quadrant. Here are the named communities so far. On the far left is Thousand Palms, or 5th Quadrant. This section of Texca Hills contains the exciting Thousand Palms Casino Resort. City of Welcome to Texca Hills! I hope you enjoy each and every update I make, as all my updates will be Video Updates. Without further ado, here is todays news broadcast. Some pictures will follow. Enjoy! This is the downtown area of Texca Hills. The city is only 45 years old now and is the capitol of the United Republic region. When Texca Hills began, it was a small but booming commercial plaza right from the start. Here is the central core of our beloved city. Small but not for so long, Texca Hills grew by the thousands per day, and the central quadrant in now full of high rise luxury buildings and condos. Aside from being a bustling center for entertainment and relaxation, Texca Hills is a great place to live, with much attraction, it will keep everyone doing something all day. Apple Store United Republic Sports Complex Texca Hills Theatre and Opera Whether in the core of the city, of high above it, you will be blown away by the beauty and grandeur Texca Hills has to offer. I know, it looks small, but Texca Hills when finished being populated, will span 9 quadrants for phase one of popularization and another 9-10 after that to end up with about 25 quadrants overall. City of Good day. Welcome to the CJ. Today will include some teaser pictures for the first big update on Saturday, December 6, 2008. You can also watch the Texca Hills News on youtube by clicking on the link above. So, lets go ahead and start! Here is the central quadrent of the city, before development, during the grand opening. The Texca Hills quadrent system will be discribed on the December 6th update. After the opening, the city began building the central business district, or Downtown Texca Hills. Downtown is the most highly demanded area on the whole region. Take notice of this fact on the next picture, lol. Texca Hills did this in two days!! It was unbelivable! I couldnt keep up. Its very dense now and highly sought after. This area is just south of Downtown. The whole central quadrent basically is this dense. You can also see the Texca Hills University here, the current enrollement is 13,000. Take a look at the United Republic Sports Complex. Another big attraction in the central quadrent. Later on in 2009, Texca Hills plans to bid for the Simlympic Games. And finally, the big picture. Here is the current city. Now you can tell what I mean by central quadrent. Well considering everything said before me in this thread, and the history of both the cities, starting from the beginnings of both cities, Los Angeles wins because the population movements of the people that have happened over the last 200 years. If Los Angeles was really a bad place to live, don't you think that San Francisco would have a much larger population by this time? There is a reason Los Angeles is larger than San Francisco by now, considering that in 1870 SF was the 10th largest city in the US, and LA was founded in 1871 and now is the 2nd largest city in the US. Whether its because of some reason or another, LA is not bigger than SF for fun, its because people choose to live there because they think its better for their lives or for various reasons. So if you ask them, Los Angeles is better to be in, because more people choose to live in places where they think they will be better off.
