Yeah, I don't have a windows desktop on my Mac and would have no other reason to get one. I'm not especially tech savvy, so anything much more than a patch is really a turn-off. I just want a game I can play for half an hour here and there. What is the "Steam" version and when do we think it might debut? I'm not a super-serious player, so maybe I can live with the glitches... I'll have to think on it. Thanks for the responses!

Hello, I am a past player of SC4 and once participated in these forums. I haven't played or posted in a long time. I recently got a Mac and have been reading that the Mac version doesn't work on newer Intel-driven computers with the latest versions of the Mac OS. I read on the Apple forums that there is an unsupported patch, but that lags persist. Can anyone comment on this? I'd really like to buy the game and start playing again, but I'm nervous that it won't run smoothly and ultimately be more frustrating than fun. Thanks!
