    HA - !!!! - I have the solution: You have to delete all temporary files and you have to copy the gmax12.exe to c:\ (or your windows-drive) the the installer works fine... SOO stupid!!!

    I have a similar problem: i downloaded gmax from Turbosquid and i got a gmax12.exe -> but it installes the microsoft ClearType Tuning Control Panel Applet WTF???? The Selfextractor says, that it is english gmax - but obviosly it is not.... Does anyone know another download location?
