I tried running it in windowed mode, and I tried setting the virtual memory to system managed. I am still having the random shut down issues.

I do not have a dual core, but Deluxe continues to shut itself down at random intervals. Now I find myself having to save every couple of minutes. John, I will try the virtual memory tip.
