In Green Grass Valley, there's school but no vacation.

What the heck!? I can't believe my ears! But the irony of them saying "they should go back where they came from and leave our country" is amusing. They are probably so dumb and close minded they don't even realize that it isn't their country.quote> Indeed. If you look for the word hypocrite in the dictionary, you'd see their picture right next to it. Makes me wonder though, what made the parents think that way? Troubled past or something? Or maybe my question was already answered in the video only I didn't notice it due to the "shock and awe" statements. . . PS: Tyra did not deserve that! (in fact, no one deserved that at all)

Plus points for making my eyes teary. Stromwell's mansion looks nice (the SC4 one). Reminds me of the mansions I used to make in The Sims.
-
Is it just me or does the mayor's mansion look like Malacañang Palace? I'm comparing your pic to a 20 peso bill right now. . . Anyway, you made an amazing improvement! I especially like how you used the apartments. What a beauty. WELCOME TO PAGE THREE ( 3 )!
-
. . . will show only 10000 usage (max 120000).quote>As far as I know, you have to wait for the capacity to fill up to the brim before you are given the word to upgrade the airport. As for the airport dilapidating / turning black prematurely, a bug perhaps.
-
awesome pic, where'd you get thoose houses from? I love them! keep it up, an amazing job so far , Richardquote> Cleaner/Richard, here you go. Search SOMY's site (try page 7). I'm feeling nationalistic all of a sudden. Strange. Anyway, nice use of the houses. They seem to stand out in your mosaic.

Airports. . . I never really had the patience to plop those things. Yours has got to be one of the most realistic airports I've seen.

topcliff: And those planes are grounded! Great effect. 8/10. capitol1: It's lacking something; parks or more buildings maybe? I'm not sure. Good city building though. 7/10. SpecialEddie: It's still amazing! Great city building, great transportation layout (except for that bit where the road passes under the train station ). 9/10. Shingure: Hmmm, makes me want to live there. I like the small gray tenements. 9/10. TheSixCents: How polluted is that area? Anyway, it's very believable. 9/10. dosomthin90210: Now that's colorful! Nice set of farms you got there. 9/10. Thanks for the input on my previous image guys. Here's another GIMP attempt. . . still Maxis. . .

*is a (former...kind of) Pinoy BATter himself*quote> That explains your previous Rizal avatar. If I can get my BATting knowledge up maybe I could tackle the automata (It would be nice to see jeepneys, LRT, and stuff like that). God speed to your projects. I hope you get to the nice Makati buildings.

^ . . . Maybe. . . < Has named a SC4 city after Jamie Hyneman. V Can say the alphabet backwards.

In Green Grass Valley, there are hurricanes but no tornadoes.

The sequencing of the images gives this illusion that makes me see Batman in the SC4 pictures (namely the construction area part). I don't know how, it just does. I think I should get my eyes checked.

Amerikaner: I like the way you lined the avenue with trees. Good architectural style too (the buildings in general, I mean). 8.5/10. dosomthin90210: Nice BATs! The buildings and the canals are a good match. 9/10. Weihnachtsmann: I just can't take my eyes off the floral part of the image! Excellent transportation layout too. 8.8/10. ryan04: Nice set of buildings there. Taking the shot at night wasn't a bad idea. 7.7/10. SpecialEddie: Gotham skyline. . . Beautiful. I could see some well-planned roads down there too. 9/10. Weihnachtsmann: Ahh, more of PEG's seasonal woods. Still good. There's some dilapidation in the lower part of the pic though. 8.5/10. SimsPlanet2: The layout, to an extent, is realistic. Not to much building repetition too. 8.8/10. I've been experimenting with the GIMP program thing and I came up with this: . . . All Maxis

Thanks for the link! I love the CIS! The custom content makes this industrial sector unique and quite realistic.
-
If you're playing on the plain SimCity 4 (by plain I mean without the Rush Hour expansion or not the SC4 Deluxe Edition), industrial zones won't have arrows. Correction: I think it will work if you have your game fully patched. If you do have Rush Hour or Deluxe Ed, you can ctrl+click and drag an industrial zone. And when you release the mouse button, you got yourself an industrial zone with an arrow. The whole concept is explained in detail here.

The way you terraformed the whole area was excellent! The tunnels were very imaginative, same for the dam. Nice walls too.
-
Your beach layout is just beautiful. Nice factories too. Oh man. I'm starting to doubt the credibility of my CJ because of sunny pictures like these--that, however, doesn't give you a reason to stop improving.
-
Awesome comeback! I can see why you restarted and I like the results. Good choice of terrain and water mods. They match perfectly. Keep it up, igan!

Sorry, I missed a lot. I've been very busy with academics lately. I've noticed that your comic strips have become better. The scene where the two bats smashed through the glass was great--high-speed camera style! I hope you find those 50's style cars that you need. Good luck with that.

^ No, no. I appreciate it actually. I have to admit, when I ran the image through the editing process, the windmills turned "plastic." The base was bad to begin with. I think the only solution is to edit the lot. How do you get it that way? Do you use color balance or a layer set to overlay?quote>I don't use photoshop, I use MS Office Picture Manager (most Windows users have it). I change the contrast and midtones a bit, then I go to the hue and saturation settings (hue gives the yellow color, amount tells how concentrated the color will be, and saturation exaggerates the colors in the image, including the yellow layer that was added). The values may vary depending on the situation. Again, I appreciate these kinds of comments. I ain't perfect.
-
Wow! The two cars are so similar! How fortunate can you get? Yeesh. What's Bullock's beef with Batman? I guess he's just a 'by the book' type of person. He fails to see the big picture though.
-
This reminds me of when I attempted to make a city similar to yours, only the wealth classes were divided by terraformed walls, not by ground elevation (Ba Sing Se). The number one problems that I encountered were what transportation networks should I use and how to incorporate them in such a way that they will maximize their effectiveness. I hope you find a way to get through this issue. Good luck with your project.
-
Ahh...hate to ask, but where did you get those walls, anyways? quote> I believe you are looking for this set. masochist: For some reason, your editing made both the green building in the foreground and the train in the background look good. I also like the dark border thing. 8.8/10. Shadow_prophet: A war I suppose. I'd personally add more tanks there but I don't know how you came up with that image. Either way, I like it. 8.5/10. TheSixCents: Nice coastal area! I also like the added urban development. Perfect water mod too. 9/10. *****atoo-210893: Is it just me or did you edit some of the lights to make them glow? Wow. 9/10. ryan04: As far as I know, you can only post one image at a time (unless you're comparing an image to another I think). Anyway, I'll rate them collectively. 7.8/10 for the Chinese feel. As usual, click before rating. It might take awhile to load though.

In Green Grass Valley, there are villages but no towns.

8/10. . . Alright, alright, 9/10--but that's because I like cats.
