i ordered my CD's two weeks ago with a $40.00 donation and they still haven't arrived and I'm in Canada too. So it shouldn't be taking this long.
  2. We Love SCS!

Sim City 4 is more of an economics game. You are not well connected with your citizens in Sim City 4 you are far from the street and do not really know how your citizens lives are. Sim City 4 citizens do not have any impact on your city. In real life the citizens shape the city so much more than the economic developers or individual mayor, whether the citizens feel depressed and materialistic or happy and religious. What I think is good about SimCity Societies is the more political, psychological and sociological gameplay so you are as the title says running a full society rather then just the simulated city building or the 100% economic side that simcity 4 takes. Sim City 4 is unrealistic in that its development does not factor sociological concepts well, for example: Labour disputes, Mass political protests, looting, rampant crime, vandalism etc. All these sociological factors have such an impact on your society and city. I don't know if they'll be in the game but I think they should be. I don't like any social science , however I think the game is worth a shot.
  3. The real faces of Paris

What about the constant riots where's your pics of those? and the garbage in the streets and the pollution and the in general nastiness of the people.
  4. The real faces of Paris

You would have to pay me to live in that dump. Where's the pics of the riots? ghettos? all the crap that multiculturalism brings. I've been there and it is a dump. It's no better than London or New York.
  5. Edited - inappropriate post given that ST is a Canadian website - MM
  6. realistic ratio of zone types

I depends on the time your building, at first it should be about 10% res. 90% agr. then as res. increases industrial increases. At about 60% res. 35% ind. 5%com. your commercial demand will increase and industrial will drop. Also there are regional factors i.e. how much agriculture is in the region and how much dirty industry before commerce will develop in you city.
