Thanks guys, this is much appreciated. I started downloading some mods last night namely NAM and I'm excited to get back into building cities and regions. Also the Maxis Reddit AMA was wonderful to read. It really seemed like they're returning to the core gameplay of SC3000 and SC4. NAM works with RHW right?... time to experiment!

Hi all, I used to play SC4 like it was nobody's business back in '06 and when I saw the announcement about SC5 I decided to reinstall SC4 for some fun. Now it's been a long time since I've played and I'd like to get my game modded up again so I've got a few questions 1. Recommended mods- I remember using NAM a lot and Pegasus's stuff. I've signed up for SC4 Devotion so I'll check over there. I like building complex transport systems, and eye pleasing but functional towns. So I like all the inner mechanics to work, not just eye candy 2. BAT- since leaving SC4 I've worked as a 3D modeller for a while now using 3DS Max, the big brother of gMax. I've also put in a fair number of hours in gMax. I'd like to do some modelling of stuff for SC4 I just don't quite know where to begin. I'll start checking around the sub-forums. Anyways I'm just looking for a general start to modding the game back up to being fun. I've been around the block already so I know about dependancies and whatnot, I just don't know who's currently the top author's to download from and what I'm missing. Thanks guys Cheers

200mhz? Seriously? I suppose running an E8400 @ 4.0ghz is probably overkill for SC4.

I unistalled my game after I had technical issues then reinstalled it and now it will not let me download and I do not remember my master account username or password. I cannot register my game on a new account because it is still registered on the master account. Is there any way to unregister a game?

Well I looked through all the multiple city making guides and all I could find was stuff about making seperate residential, commercial, and industrial cites. But as I said before you would probably be better off asking somebody else because I'm not expert at this stuff.

Well are you talking about specific areas in your regions being set up for residential, commercial, and industriul? Or do you mean like regions made for them? Because as far as I now and you may need to ask somebody else about this you can't have your sims travel to different regions.
