i dont know about you guys, but these citys and buildings seriusly reminds me of the sims 3.

actually i have the same issue, after entering the "cheat" it dosnt do anything

thats the thing, every sign on how to make a good game is already out there, but it looks like they are trying to as much as possible to ignore EVERYTHING.

What ive noticed is that they are complaining that in SC4 every city ends up the same way, is built in the same way and its no fun. Well for me personally, in all the years ive played all sc series, that have never happened to me, especially in SC4. My city's and regions are never the same and every piece of what I do have its own story, every region from its start to end always have its story line, every action I do, every building I build, everything I destroy have a reason and a story. Its just your imagination that is limiting the game, and if they say that sc4 is boring and everything ends up the same, than sorry but you don't have creativity, and a person without creativity shouldn't be making games.

Honestly. question was , what from this trailer was so special that made you decide to buy it? the only one new future i saw was that rocket station. dont need to start this, dont want dont buy crap again. Lol, what was so impressing in this video that made you want to buy it now? Thoes empty wastlands betwen block of "city"? That non ecisting nature(5 trees around a city) Thoes buildings that look almost the same as the ones in first sc5 pictures? thoes small city sizes that have space for 3 skyscreapers and 5 houses? that super cool new engine that cant even hold big citys? that fact that you are forced to be online? that its made as an facebook game where you have to send presents to your frends? the fact that there is no terrain editing? or that such a small villages have traffic on every corner?

SInce im quiet young and started my working carrier 3 years ago, I would hade appreciated if school could hade gave me experience not just crap, a lot of the stuff I learned I just don't need it neither it interests me, and even now, a lot of workplaces look more on experience not the paper. That's what I think, more actual work to gain experience less sitting in table and reading crap.

LOL that city at the beggining, it dosnt even look like medium size SC4 city, few skyscreapers with some houses around and the zone is full, and look how bad is the nature there, all thoes wastelands betwen and even in the city, there is so much of empty grass spots.

offcors there is some things that do sound nice about this game, but there is just so many minuses about it that it will be one of the games i open once in a whail to maybe check some new future or when im just totally boord.

you cant make the actual city sizes bigger, what i did was download a custom map that hade only big city plots, when you build and have filled up the plot start in the next one that is next to the one you are already using it, you can connect them with roads trains etc and you can connect water,power,garbage, and trade betwen citys,and people will travel from one region to another for work.

for the love of god, this was a real beauty,the effect you added and the way you have designed your city is just magnificent can hardly belive its SC4

well thoes areas you destroyd could be the reason. Plus , by any chance are you one of thoes players that plops everything in a town sized city? like aiports,all education buildings, hundreds of hospitals and so on?

It actually is if you use the Advanced Search (the little gear-shaped button next to the search bar) Sorry but i ment someting ells. Now we have Bat,lots,maps etc but im talking about more micro categories as Commercial,Industry,Utilitys and such. Ottherwise most files are under Bat and they are all in one big mess.

I agree that the serch sucks, what you could try is searching for words only in titles as alot of description lots include word garbage. To bad its not more subcategoried like, utilitys,commercial,industry and such

I belive its more like age of your city(tile) rather than date year. Atlist thats what i have always used it for.

i agree with you. And at the place Ihrob pointed, i would just leave the terrain as it is and make eather promenade along the river side or make a harbor there.

and skip all the high rise building for now, and dont build like 5 airports just becouse you want it to be metropolitnish Open your budget report and look whoes eating the moust, start from there.
