I almost agree with everyone. Im a HUGE will wright FAN! i lvoed his simtowers, and even play sometimes still the old simchopter and simcars..are whatever its called for simcity 2. I think what would make this game better, is by not calling part of the simcity franchise.Cause, considering the fact that has nothing in it at all that ties it to any MAXIS simcity game. I personally like the design and thought of the game, when you take in the perspective of being a completly diffrent game. Not a simCity. Now, if EA or MAXIS is trying to call this SIMCITY 5...?..... then i think that is a very upsetting statement that EZ NEEDS TO RECANT. This is not a simcity game. Considering that WIll as nothing to with.It does encourage me that it dosnt ellude to being SIMCITY 5 on the box,..but rather...Simc CIty socieites. Because this means that perhaps when will finishes SPORE..which i think is an completly awsome concept. SPORE could be more aptly called simcity 5. maybe he might come back and work on the REAL simcity 5. HE really is doing some good work. and deserves alot of comendation. Too many people here are trashing will. but i dont really think its wills fault...contracts and things need to be fullfiled and hes only one man. but i hope he'll come back and give us one more simcity 5. And we'll know its the TRUE PREDESCOR because it will only add to the concepts already there, and make it mroe chalenging for us lovers of sims.! I mean, really its like a train set. only one you can build on your computer with endless memory.No need for floorspace. cause it does not use any of the simcity formula...namely isometric...big cities..big buildings..it does not expand on the MAXIS concept, but rahter..completly trashes it and and then throws it in a trash compactor for further deconstruction.Im an not going to say that this is the NEW SIMCITY 5.Rather im going to veiw this game as it is. a completly diffrent genre. that follows along the same lines as the monte cristo game simcity. or that other one that came out too but i cant reamber...Newyork? something...?.. well, those were fun games. taht a neat to play here and there.but, i miss the old isometric veiw.I think its sad that everyone is jumping on the "LETS GO 3-(FU%$##$) D everyone!!!!! yYEAHHHH" Lets get back to our roots. 2-D. with 3-D feels..isometircs...lenometics...awsomeomtric...ok..now im jsut makeing them up....anyway..good thread..Its good to hear that the major majority of the sim fanfare is up in arms over this outrage. I am too. CALL IT ANYTHING YOU WANT>>!!! JUST DONT CALL IT SIMCITY 5. and i will enjoy this new title from EA and TM. thank you for reading. my stupid rant.

wow, the buildings are beautiful. One question cause i'm farily new to this project. has anyone given any conderation to the Cars? the automata? or the roads? i thnk the rodes so be more colorful. maybe for the Highways have them to be more likle Hover lanes? i mean. like some kinda transparent road for the highways. same with the train set. troica got a real nice furustic set that works well with the feel. but, the railroads should be made more simmarsish. I'm sure you guys are already working on it.I'm probably behind the times. so i do aplogize. I defintaly think its coing a long very nicely.Good luck in your endevurs!
