Everyone, here is the very first Update (Update# 1) and I will be featuring the City of Wayne. Wayne is the county seat of Brown County, Iowa and the largest city in the area after Cedar Rapids to the north. The city started out as a very small town with a population of 10 in 1848 and now has a population of about 26,000 (2000 census) with Interstate 380 running through the center of Wayne. Wayne has NO big department stores like Wal-Mart, but does have a Home Depot , Costco store, K-Mart and Shopko. Wayne has numrous nieghborhood parks located all across the city. Update# 30 Featuring the Village of Vulcan, Manitoba Canada. This update pays hommage to Star Trek nad the real town of Vulcan, Alberta Canada. The village was founded by a group of Vulcans (yes, the Star trek aliens) that crash landed near here in 1913. The founding "fathers" covered up that they are aliens by plastic surgury done by their ships doctor. Some say that they are still alive and living in the village.
