I like London better for the most part, good art scene, but its friggin expensive! everything costs almost twice as much as it does in nyc. Also, theres cool neighborhoods outside of the center of the city, a definite plus! The tube is awesome, way better then the metro, except for the fact that the ceilings are low and I'm tall.<br /><br />I'm a New Yorker, so I really like the ad-hoc nature of london, as opposed to the rigid, but beautiful, architecture and urban layout of Paris...One more thing, British architects are doing way cooler stuff. Rogers, Foster, Alsop, all much better than the rigid, cold hyper modernism going on in France.
