Yoshiisland - As for signs 28 and 29... I say try this > Open M.S. Paint > Right click Sign 28 and select COPY > Go to M.S. Paint, select the selection area tool, right click anywhere on the blank drawing area, and select PASTE... That should give you the full image... If NOT, then do this as this will DEFINATELY work... > Go to view Signs 28 and 29 on your screen, but don't click them. > On your keyboard, press "PrtSc" or "Print Screen" located somewhere on the top right corner of your keyboard... > Open up M.S. Paint, select the selection area tool, right click anywhere on the drawing area, and select PASTE... > This will copy your ENTIRE window into M.S. Paint, however you'll have to select, crop, and save the signs yourself... but it will DEFINATELY work... Benedict - Sweet plan, finally a rail system... The system has changed somewhat though, I don't mean to hold you off but do you mind if we wait until I get the website launched before we continue with that? I will have the most up to date transportation map and city shots on there and it will be much easier to plan... Only drawback is the wait time... But with 2 City Scape Views, a whole region map, and even parcelated maps of certain areas and a transport map... I'm certain it will definately help... lilmanjs - Okay, I'll apply curves as necessary, I'll give you a quote for that in this upcoming update.. Will it be limited access or at grade? if it's limited access then perhaps you and MPTC should make arrangements to just extend Lantia Parkway? If not then maybe it should begin / end at Lantia Parkway? ___________________________ I'm compiling the files for the next update.. stay tuned! -

Yoshiisland - Yes, use points from the Tuckaway Transport Vault as it will keep better record of the transactions than your personal account, and if someone wanted to "chip in" from Tuckaway transport... then it will make it easier... I've collected the new signs for the westbound portion... Lable them the same way you did last time, make sure they have different filenames than before otherwise they'll crossreference with the previous signs...... Just one request this time. Make the center mounted signs all the same size, oh and if POSSIBLE as I know this is asking alot... if you could just make the route markers readable then that would be great but no huge expectations... Oh and whats the status on those elctronic toll gantries? Thanks a ton and great job on the previous signs! MPTC - 1.8 to Purchase 4.5 Points to destroy it. Once it is purchased, you can biuld anything you desire there so long as it is zone related and doesn't exceed the tiles... Also for whatever reason, your link is not working for me... politicman - Thank you! They were hard Houston_Fan - Awsome plan, I'll have a quote for you by tomorrow evening... willg - Very well and half of Exit 6's sign's have been completed, the eastbound side and some of the westbound side... I'll have photo's up upon surrendering the deed to Tuckaway Transportation... I'll proceed with your development tomorrow... Oh and btw yes you will get points for the other development iamihop11 - Welcome back. As for the downtown projects... Because of the relocation of the railroad, and also the project to sink the East/West Connector into the ground, a few of those biuldings have been destroyed, or atleast the ones along the side of the freeway... I'll have some updated photo's for you by tomorrow along with the other requests... ____________________________________________ Announcement: Just announcing that my updates may be alittle slow as I still need to dedicate time to getting this website running... I've been alittle slack on it lately as I've really been tied up for the past few days... Okay, this update is dedicated mostly towards Tuckaway Transportation... Here are the Highway Signs I'm requesting... This sign if for Highway 2 in Linaton... Remember to try to make all the center mounted signs, the same size as one another... make them slightly taller than before aswell... This sign is located off the Exit Ramp for Exit 4B and not on the toll itself... Make sure you make all the center mounted signs the same signs, also try to make them taller than the previous version. -

willg - Well I can say for certainty that the railline will be completely impossible... It doesn't matter though as that's not a passenger rail anyway... I will biuld and quote you for what I can create though, how is that? Houston_Fan - I'll change it within the next few updates... There will probably be no entrance to Westbound A2... Eastbound Hwy 2 will continue with unnumbered exits and possably a few at grade intersections for now, until Hwy 2 is upgraded into full freeway standards all the way to downtown, if something like that should become necessary... Otherwise, numbering Hwy 2's exits with the bypass's exits could be confusing... As at first the bypass begins outside of downtown and performs a loop around the city and the highway then the highway leaves town on an all new alaignment, but with the exit numbers from an old alaignment, if you get my drift... Yoshiisland - Awsome, I've downloaded it, if you want to reconfigure the bus stop alaignment then now's a good time... Also, great job on the Highway signs! I plopped them onto 202/A2 and performed UDI, felt like I was on a real Highway! I'll get the westbound signs to you very soon...I'll get you your deed and deduct the points for the tollway upon completion of the Signs and Toll Gantries... Would you like to donate any points into Tuckaway Transportation at this time? _____________________________________ Name Points 2nerdy4u 0 abcvs 30 Almighty Nienaber 50 Amerikaner 57 autoVino 50 Benedict 75.4 cleaner475 50 Cjah 50 Cowboy[Texas] 51 Critterman 50 CTF 21.7 DarkEldar 30 Dr Lezard 50 e350tb 21.9 granto93 50 Greenbean418 34 homeandaway 30 Houston_Fan 59 iamihop11 116 jacqulina 61 jimmyCo 50 Krio 50 KingTitan 36 lilmanjs 47.2 manman99 50 mencc1701 50 Moshi 30 MPTC 12.1 MsD 50 ObladiOblada 5.7 ODST_27 51 PennDOTguy 50 PhatHead 50 politicman 30 rct3twins 30 SaltandVinegar 50 sebbyb07 30 Sim_Air 31 Simfan34 50 sobol 50 suplado! 31 Tommy_Vercetti3 30 truflip99 30 Voulpiotis 30 willg 34 Yoshiisland 2882 yoshikoroyimara 30 Company Names Points Union 93 Propaganda Department - 2nerdy4u 37 Dolce Investments - Amerikaner 0 South Shore Independent Railway, Ltd - Benedict 0 Newark Water Company - CTF 17 Greater Newark Area Disposal - CTF 0 Newark Power Company - CTF 0 Schop Insitute - iamihop11/MPTC/2nerdy4u/ObladiOblada 28.1 IHOPe Trusts - iamihop11 0 Tuckaway Transportation Systems - Yoshiisland/lilmanjs/Houston Fan 0 -

Oh yes and a couple of other announcements! The development grant will cover 40 Points for any residential development that exceeds 15 tiles, Light or Medium Density, and 40 Points for any commercial development that exceeds 15 tiles, Light or Medium Density... meaning you can make 80 points just by developing... It MUST be near either the 202/A2 Expressway or The East/West Connector however to recieve the Grant, there's no other requirements... And Yoshiisland, can I get the link to the roadtop mass transportation you wanted me to use? and did you have anywere in mind you wanted me to plop the FBC Biuldings for the busses?? -

First, lets get a few requests out of the way... WillG has been waiting for god knows how long to see the area around Exit 6 so I'll put that up first... Map out a development and we'll go from there, be warned that because of the slope, things might not want to connect so easily onto the main road so be prepared for modifications... Lilmanj's desired to see his industrial district so thats next! As we can tell, the Industrial District isn't developing very quickly, we can tell why by looking at the RCI... I'd suggest sticking with Homes and Commerce for the moment... Iamihop11 had a request regarding his water tower park... thats up next... Thanks to Tuckaway Transportation (and Benedict who managed to sleep through the entire project) The South Shore Line has been relocated, it now runs under ground all the way into Eaton... ..Beginning it's tunnle here, just after the junction with the Oconee Express where it proceeds under Highway 35 (eliminating the railroad crossing)... ...and surfacing here, on the eastern bay of the Oconee where the old railbridge was completely replaced by an underwater Tunnle... Plan out your development with that picture I gave you above and we'll go from there.. Houston Fan desired to see the area around Exit 7 of A2... and now that the highway is complete then it's best to show him now... Without grids, as we can see the area didn't change too much... With Grids to aid you in your planning... Zoomed in view to aid us both in your development... The Exit 7 Interchange, I left area open on the ridge for development for both you and Willg... Of course, you cannot develope on cliffs though. and Also Houston Fan....here is a Proposal, or atleast a better route into the Northern Mountains... The proposal will carry Highway 2 as an expressway and spawn another Tollway to proceed NorthWest into the mountains, the incline here isn't as steep as it is near Exit 7 and most of the land near Exit 7 is unsuitable for heavy development anyway... My idea would be to call this Tollway 502 as it represents a spur... And now... onto our update... _______________________________________________ First lets have a look around at our users developments... With the completion of the New Tollway and the upgrades on Highway 2, Linaton feels closer to town as its development is showing that residents are no longer shy about moving further from town... Conviniently located inside the new perimeter, right off the expressway, Talliup Corner's development is showing impressive results. The area gives a strong urban feel on the island with the presence of so many intersections and heavy traffic... Higher View... Now.... lets have a look at the new tollway... As we can see, The 202 Tollway begins at Atlantic Drive with an At-Grade Intersection, proceeding north into a cloverleaf style interchange with The East/West Connector. The East West Connector uses this opportunity to form collector / distributor roads as it prepares itself to become 3 lanes concrete barrier divided Sunken Highway with center mounted street lamps. It remains this way until the New Exit 9. Highway 2 was rebiult and relocated as an avenue that travels a decent distance towards downtown. plans to upgrade are underway. The South Shore Line was biult into a tunnle to go under The East/West Connector, and then under the 202/A2 Tollway... This area was by far the hardest to complete as much of the development here, simply was erased dropping the population by about 10,000 people throughout the entire REGION! Officials are contacting investors to promote relocation and rebiulding projects which will promote much denser biuldings around the Expressway corridoors... 202 continues Northeast into Highway 6 and then into Highway 35 where it connects into its first alaignment... This section blasted portions of the Wachita Mountain Range into stable cliffs. Old Highway 35 was reconstructed into safer grades during the project at the cost of the city seeing this as the perfect opportunity... The new portion new continues from Exit 6 at FBC Drive into Exit 7, North Eaton Highway... and proceeds further east until... It meets its maker for its final time, terminating at Highway 2 in a trumpet style interchange, causing Highway 2 to upgrade into a Divided Highway. Notice how A2's Westbound Entrance from Highway 2 has a LEFT hand merge? Closer view Between Highway 6 and Highway 35 The new Highway 6 Interchange with 202... New overpass between Highway 2 and Highway 6... Highway 2 Crossing 202... The East/West Connector crossing Highway 202... It is here that the East/West Connector Submerges into a Sunken Highway... This interchange is unique because Exit 6 used to be an At-Grade Intersection with The East/West Connector... Today it stands as the largest and most complex interchange on the East/West Connector, bringing it nearly to full limited access standards... 202 Tollway ends here with an At-Grade Intersection with Atlantic Dr, the intersection is traffic light controlled... The East West Connector gets low... Exit 7, Highway 2 The new Exit 8 which proceeds north into Park Place Industrial, courtesy of Tuckaway Transportation... The New Exit 9 ... where Talliup Corner is located... it is here where The East/West Connector returns to standard grade... Overview... I have eliminated unecessary rails to make room for development in the area... The new portion of Tollway at night... Proceeding Northeast Into the cliffs as it bypasses Park Place Industrial... Overview between Highway 2 and Highway 35... Between Exit 7 and the Terminus of the Tollway... The terminus at night... And thats the 202/A2 Tollway completed! What do you think Tuckaway Transportation? And thats all for now investors of Newark... Sorry to keep you so late... j/k -

MPTC - Thanks for the link! jacqulina - Thank you! Houston_Fan - I understand what you're talking about... Unfortunately that avenue won't beable to proceed much further north than A2 because after A2, Those mountains become REALLY steep... I do however have a different proposal that will take an expressway into the Mountains north of that area... Also I have a closer image for your development request... Yoshiisland - Fantastic! Can I get a link to download them? ... I'll get the Westbound side to you be tonight or tomorrow... willg - Very nice! lilmanjs - Yes, I'll get that to you on the next update, probably tomorrow because of the amount of updates I have to do... ...If you're patient however you could wait until the launch of the website, it will have everyone's development in the most current status shown in both the cityscape and development mode... it's going to take me a minute to finish though... MPTC - Awsome, I'm using it now, I might beable to do it... I am curious though, does this program have the ability to make lines? Yoshiisland - Awsome, I'll give you and iamihop11 the quotes to relocate or go underground... You could consider using this opportunity to biuld a passenger rail aswell... ... Also, along with the relocation of the rail, The East West Connector, from Exit's 6 to 8 is becoming a Sunken Highway with frontage roads to accomidate for the closely spaced interchanges and overpasses in that area... ...This will be covered by the city.. e350tb - Yes, thats honestly the best place for it... convinient to the expressway, rails and workers... Would you like to choose a location or should I? 2nerdy4u - Thanks! As it stands it's about the brightest thing in Newark...Construction is continueing.. Does anyone find it quite hillarious how Maxis simply left the Sim City Scene for the Sims, leaving all of the Sim City Fans in the dark... When we all complained to Maxis about the lack of sufficient support and content for Sim City 4000, they smiled and gave us Sim City Societies... an absolute joke... Does anyone find it funny at all how Maxis simply dropped the Sim City Title along with its fans down the toilet? -

2nerdy4u - Very well, you should speak with Tuckaway transportation to dertmine whether or not Lina Park Way will be converted into an interchange or not... Yoshiisland- Okay. As for the subway routes, I can't do (or atleast not that many) for two reasons, for one, it would put the budget way under... and the second is it would be rather unrealistic for such a small town to possess so many lines of Subways... Of course not to your offense but just to give a mild example, the city I live in is Atlanta and has somewere around 5 Million people, yet there are in reality only about 5 Subway / Light rail lines...Newark only has 150,000 people so it would kind of stick out like a soar thumb if you get my drift. I would suggest instead of densly packing the subway lines together, to biuld a central hub station in Downtown, sprawl the subway lines out towards the suburbs and give them parking lots, and strategically position bus stations to feed into the subway stations, that way it's more realistic, still very functional, and cheaper for both of us... Also ... I need tuckaway transportation's decision on whether or not I should biuld the entire 202/A2 Tollway and bill your points when you have enough to cover it, or if you would like me to just wait and biuld it portions at a time. Oh!!! Yes would you be willing to help Iamihop11 with the possible relocation or underground placement of the South Shore Rail Line? I'll need to relocate some of it anyway to biuld the 202 Tollway... I need to know and to know upon which terms if you do that way I can get some quotes up... Houston_Fan - Very well, motorists will not be tolled until they access the onramps on both of the highways anyway thus making it impossible for travelers on Highway 2 to become tolled. Check with 2nerdy4u to see if he wants the Highway 2 freeway to have an Interchange with Lina Park Way, or a standard at grade intersection. Also again with Tuckaway transportation, I need to know if you guys would rather me complete the tollway now and bill you when you have enough points to cover it or not... MPTC - Okay! Willg - I havn't forgotten about your request, I'm still trying to see what Tuckaway transportation wants to do with that area this way your development can go as smoothly as possible.. Iamihop11 - I havn't forgotten about your request either... I just want to know if Tuckaway transportation would like to partake in any portion of your rail re-alaignment, btw have you spoke with Benedict? Now a small request of my own... The City Scape Region view is about 7,700 X 4,030 Pixels. This is absolute HELL on M.S. Paint, although it still loads and views fine on any webbrowser and preview mode... I'm finding that because of memory issues (I currently have 1 Gig on Windows Vista, upgrading to 2 Gigs soon.), that I can't really expand the image dimensions much further while maintaining editability... Making anything more than the 5th Zoom level on SC4 impossible... Does anyone know of any image editing programs that might be better suite for tremendouse size images? ________________________________________ Now for our regular update, but first... alot of you have noticed the lack of my updates and sometimes even missed requests, and you're about to see just one small fraction of where I've been putting the majority of my effort into... ... First off, I want to introduce to you... http://bluehopecityjournal.bravehost.com/ ... Does anything come up? Nothing? Good that means it's working because I just registered it tonight! Okay, now seriously... City Scape View Copy and paste this into your address bar, this will bypass remote linking in which isn't permitted by bravehost... http://bluehopecityjournal.bravehost.com/FullRegion.jpg This is the full region view at the highest zoom level as promised... It isn't quite perfect, this is only a Beta version... The final version will feature route markers, city limits, and user developments... As you can see it is also slightly unjustified as some places don't match up quite perfectly but I will work that out in the final version... This is just so you can see what the full region view will look like... You can zoom in into the highest zoom level allowed in the city editing mode and it gives you a better jist of things than the region view does. I'm still trying to figure a way out to make a 3rd / 4th zoom level though... I guess that will come on time... This image took me about a week to compile. I'd expect probably another 2 weeks to perfect... DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT OR YOU WILL GO TO YOUR GRAVE SORRY - Save that image and open it in M.S. Paint... It will be VERY slow. I have 1 gig of Ram and it was slow to the point of almost motionless for even me. I understand that the standard these days is easily 2 gigs but it's just to let you know, that image isn't very forgiving to M.S. Paint... Windows Preview or any browser will work fine though. Now... into our update... ______________________________________________ First lets have a look at the local news! As we can see, obvoiously Mr.Brown informed the press false evidence, accusing Soni for the attacks at Millidgeville. Will our Hero beable to escape the renagades of the hostile island, or worse, the media?! As for the Tollway, lets have a look at the progression of the 202 / A2 Expressway! A crowd gathers with the Mayor and representatives of Tuckaway Transportation to celebrate the completion of the first portion of the Tollway! As seen here, the celebration occurs on brand new interchange between A2 and FBC Drive! Exit 6... While this portion of the tollway is complete, it will not be open to traffic until the instalation of the Electronic Tolling Gantries. Signs will be installed during this procedures aswell. A better look at the completed interchange between FBC Drive and Highway A2, The Interchange in the Mountains... ... The highway temporairly ends here and awaits the approval for the construction of the Eastern Portion. The interchange between Highway 202 and Highway 35 was recently upgraded. Most traffic can keep moving at all times, except for the Southbound 35 to Eastbound 202 who must cross opposing traffic to accomplish this. This area required the relocation of raillines, the clearing and blasting of Mountains into stable cliffs, a complete new route for Old Highway 35... and ALOT of patience... This interchange was by far the hardest to complete in this project. 202 Westbound temporairly ends here until the final approval to complete it to the East/West Connector, which will require some more mountain blasting and patience... The Exit 4 and Exit 5 were finally linked together in this long stretch of highway, recently completed were overpasses and Highway... Just after the terminus of Highway 202, A2 continues as an express alternative to Highway 2. Rails were realigned to pass under the same over pass as the expressway into a freight station. This portion leads up into the hills for its next interchange with FBC drive... Higher view to see just how the tollway manuevers around Highway 2... Higher view of the Park Place Industrial district and Highway 35's interchange with the 202 Tollway.. Thats not all however... It also seems as if they have opened a channle for power into the electrical system of the tollway, so tonight... for the first time... The towers shine brightly over the empty expressway! At Highway 2, 202, and A2 interchange... At Highway 35 Interchange Close up of Highway 35 interchange at night.. Close up of Highway 2's interchange at Night Again at Highway 35 and finally...the Westbound ramp into Northbound Highway 35 and Old Highway 35... How do you like it Tuckaway Transportation? Did it come out the way you desired Houston Fan? ___________________________________________________________ Now for a few sniplits of sprawl around the area... Tuckaway is becoming a mansion haven! The elite class enjoy being away from the populous yet in a convinient location! And Lantia, with its recent addition of water... biulds its first mansion! Congratulations... -

Yoshiisland - Yes, the Highway Signs will net you somewere around 4,500 to 5,000 Points when the westbound side is completed... (speaking of which I need to post those for you) with the completion of the remaining sector's of the tollway you'll probably have somewhere around 3,500 to 4,000 Points remaining... the bus project would easily be feasable... I just needed to know, what were the yellow lines for? The 202 Tollway, will most likely completely remove the former alaignment of Highway 202 from the East/West connector, all the way to Highway 6... If you want me to proceed with the construction and just charge you when you get the points then I will do that, that way both you and willg can get the most up to date pictures... KingTitan - Yes this is coming along quite a way... I REALLY should have taken before and after photo's jacqulina - I'd agree... _________________________________________ I'm holding a vote! The completion of the A2 Tollway will upgrade Highway 2 into either an Avenue or a Rural Highway, just outside of Linaton. Should Highway 2, after the terminus of A2, continue as an Avenue / Rural Highway with at grade intersections? Or a city maintained Freeway with unnumbered Interchanges?... 20 Point bonus to responders! -

2nerdy4u - Yes, and soon will be connected by a limited access highway as you can see, which will really stir development in that direction... First payday doesn't occur until October 31st... Also everything that you purchase in the beggining of October will not reflect until November 31st... But there will still be opportunities for bonus points ahead so don't worry... Yoshiisland - No problem, you as a representive of Tuckaway transportation DID see how much that portion of 202 / A2 costed correct? I need to know when you desire to complete the remaining portions or if you desire a quote or not... lilmanjs - No problem, just plan it and I'll give you a quote iamihop11 - The Linaton farm will cost 73.5 Points to Purchase, Destroy, and biuld a water pump there... and will cost 26.7 Points there after to maintain the pumps ... ...As for rerouting the rail from the Old Water Tower Park, first that is Benedict's portion of the South Shore Rail Line so we'll need to get permission from him first. Second it's definately not going to be cheap or easy to relocate the rail as the rail runs parrallel with The East/West Connector. In order to achieve that request, the rail will have to overpass The East/West Connector and dock on the North Portion of it from the Oconee River's bridge. Also, Talliup Corner is also on the northern half of the East/West Connector so the Rail would somehow have to bypass it altogether... From there it will most likely have to run it's entire length on that side of the highway in which an all new rail junction between The South Shore Line and The Wachita Central Line would need to be biult and constructed... From there, the line would most likely continue on an all new alaignment all the way to parcel 17's border... Going underground, might be cheaper... I don't have the tile count off hand, I'll price it for you but here's some suggestions... - Suggestion 1 - The construction of the 202 Tollway will almost certainly relocate a portion of the South Shore Rail Line... If you desire to relocate the rails, then perhaps you should make arrangements with Tuckaway transportation to see if they can help you with such a project... - Suggestion 2 - If you want the railline to fit in, perhaps biulding a park trail into an oldtown style passenger rail station would give it a hystoric feel... - Suggestion 3 - Go underground... ...However you run the risk of probably going under the entire Downtown area... so it won't be cheap... You'll need Benedicts permission with all three suggestions of course so I suggest you PM him... willg - Okay I'll get those for you on the next update... _________________________ Sorry for the lack of pictures this update... I will give you progress and status however... - The 202 Tollway is being constructed as planned and the portion requested is near completetion, just awaiting the Eastbound signs and Electronic tolls... Portions of the Wachita Central Railline were relocated. Old Highway 35 was also relocated. The interchange on FBC drive was just completed. Highway 35's interchange was upgraded into mostly cloverleaf standards... - There will likely be no story mode yet until I get the website launched. The majority of my update time is being consumed by the intense project of this website... But I feel as if it will be worth the lack of story mode for a moment. - I'm in process of compiling the 5th zoom Region View for the CityScape for the website.. This view will be updated probably every 2 months... It sounds long but it takes a LONG time to compile and this ensures that I will have everyone's development... - The 3rd zoom Region View will follow different updating procedures and will possibaly see an update every two weeks... - After the Zoomed Region View's I will begin collecting images of Parcels and Grids...and then proceed to listing them in a web directory for you to view and choose at your own will... -

Yoshiisland - Okay just make it for the avenue and oneway road... As for the signs, basically...Notice how the first sign has "202" in a plain white emblem and the 2nd sign has the actual "202 Toll" emblem? I need you to replace the first sign's "202 Emblem with the emblem from the sign below it... willg - The tollway has radically changed that hillside and even if it didn't... that area wouldn't really come out looking that way (it's on a hill) I could use a clearer image for certain, however I can't biuld anything there until the completion of the tollway as the tollway will definately displace some development there... If you still wish to develope there, lets wait until I have images of the area after the tollway is complete... lilmanjs - You won't need too toll it, infact I don't recommend you toll a highway that proceeds through undeveloped land as it will take awhile for traffic to incur and you'll end up losing more points than you gain due to the cost of tolls... -

iamihop11 - lol, ooops.. yeah I realise I made alot of errors on those signs, mainly because I was half asleep when I was making them. Took me most of the night... But okay I will add the company to the score... Yoshiisland - Cool just do your best! lilmanjs - Coming this Update... 2nerdy4u - Cool e350tb - Will post in the next update! Okay lets settle a few requests... ___________________________________________ lilmanjs desired to see the entire area west of Tuckaway for his proposal to biuld a rural highway... Clickable for a larger view Again, Clickable for a larger view... And while we're in Tuckaway, lets have a look at... The Shain Industrial Park. Currently the access road has just been completed and open and we'll be expecting development soon... Note to all of Newarks investors... Industrial demand isn't as strong as the residential and commercial demand so just to keep you informed that Industial may take much longer to develope,,, Now to CTF's requests... Lantia has just recieved water from the Newark Water Company... The land values rise and Lantia will soon find high wealth homes within its city limits... and... And your request regarding the farm in A5... Although it is a tad pricey, if you purchase and destroy this farm, all the tiles it encompassed will belong to you, even though your pump only takes one tile... and since we are in Linaton, lets have a look at 2nerdy4u's request! More ground has broken for the Linaton development... Experts predict before long that streets will need to be upgraded into higher capcity roads. Highway 2 is already undergoing major changes as you're about to find out... Overview of Linaton as it stands... the addition of a school has brought upon higher wealth classes into the city, attracted by the foundation of education and a solid base for their children. Congratulations 2nerdy4u ... here is your deed... And now for willg's request... Willg desired to see the area partaining to Exit 9 of I believe the new propsed tollway... If I am wrong and you meant the East/West connector, forgive me... Overview. If you have plans, draw them out on those images and let me know! _______________________________________ Now onto the update, but before we go further... I want to announce that Newark is now offering 40 Point Grants for Residential and Commercial Development along the new Highway 202 Tollway Cooridoor (see the proposal map for details)... The construction of the Expressway has led to the destruction of many homes. Many were forced to relocate. To compensate, Newark is helping investors biuld along the route... The rules are... Must be atleast 15 Tiles of either Residential or Commercial Zoning. Cannot exceed 20 Tiles of Dense Zoning. You will recieve both a residential and commercial grant (80 points total) if your design includes both 15 tiles of residential and 15 tiles of commercial zoning. I DO however suggest you wait until the exit you desire to biuld off of is complete before biudling however... It's too risky to biuld before the highway arrives as you might be forced to relocate should your development impede the highway's path. Now... Tuckaway Transportation... Houston Fan has compiled signs for Newark to use for the road system... We have agreed that I will biuld a portion of the tollroad for absolutely no charge should he complete this task; however, Tuckaway transportation is still responsible for the Monthly fee's the highway will incur, which will begin October 31'st... Don't worry, the income is still greater than the expenses... Hwy 202 / A2 Tollway (Exit 4 - 6) Rural Highway Tiles 340 Total Ramps 13 Highway Tower Lights 40 Toll Tiles 12 Expenses Monthly Expenses 432.6 Income CJ Monthly Income 170 Minimum Monthly Income 510 Total Income 77.4 As we can see, The reason the income is relatively low for a highway his size, is because the addition of tolls and the lack there of travelers due to the fact, it's simply a new tollroad. Thus your income will increase dramatically as traffic increases so don't worry... what you see here is the absolute minimum you'll make.. ..Now lets have a look at the progress of construction of 202 and A2... Overview of the interchange between Highway 2 and 202/A2 Closer photo. It is here where Highway 202 and 2 meet for the second time, completing the 202 bypass tollway... The interchange is unique because Highway 202 first crosses Highway 2, then proceeds with an interchange upon crossing Highway 2 again to head North... this is the yellow portion in the Proposal Maps shown by Houstan Fan. The project involved relocating several residents and destroying homes, relocating railroad tracks and side roads, and relocating High Tension Powerlines... Proceeding west, the construction continues... the highway is not yet open for public use. DOT is still awaiting the construction of the electronic tolls... The highway 35 interchange was also completed however it too awaits the tolls. The highway will not be opened for traffic until the construction of the toll booths.... Several residents and businesses were forced to vacate the area. The highway took the position of several established neighborhoods. This interchange also whiped out several hillside developments along Highway 35 as it proceeds into the mountains... Engineers are preparing to complete an overpass over a surface road. This road had to be relocated TWICE for the construction of the Highway 202 Cooridoor... And our final photo shows Highway 202 crossing Highway 2 just west of its 2nd proposed interchange with Highway 2 before terminating into Highway A2...A local road here was constructed into an overpass to continue the flow of traffic. An High School however was destroyed. Relocation projects are in plan however. The highway will feature... - Electronic Tolls on every onramp (except Highway 2 at the 202 / A2 terminus, a different tolling strategy will mount the electronic tolls above the actual Highway rather than the ramps in this interchange). Traffic will not have to stop and will beable to merge onto the tollroad as if it were a standard freeway... - Standard Interchange Illumination throughout the entire portion... The Highway feature towers mounted with lights that you find on many interchanges on the traditional interstate system, throughout its entire portion. Most of them will be center mounted, however during interchanges, light will be spread more equally. There will be no center mounted lamps during interchanges...this is to prevent over illumination, which is also considered a road hazard. - Interchanges... Unlike the East/West connector, both Highway 202 and A2 will be constructed to full limited access standards. The Tollway is mostly Interstate standard with the exception of a few onramps that don't provide QUITE enough speed up time. Correction however for this issue is relatively easy. And thats all for now... have fun fellow simtropolitans... -

ObladiOblada - Thanks! Yoshiisland - Okay, and yes they're for the rural highway, ground highway... DON'T make them as transit enabled tiles because it does screw up path finding... Just make them as overhanging plops that you place beside the highway... Thanks again! MPTC - I'll see what I can do... Most likely it will be for the East/West connector. willg - As for loans, I personally can't issue them as I woudn't benefit at all (There's no way I can use points) HOWEVER If there is a member here willing to start a loan agency and you two agree upon terms then I am fine with that, and I'll get Exit 9 for you in the next update -

Yoshiisland - Okay, I compiled a lists of all the EastBound signs for the project... Once again you can take your time, there's no hurry... the highway will likely be long completed before the signs... Each sign has double pylons (one on each side, one on the right hand side of the shoulder of the Highway and one on the left in the median of the Highway) except for the "Next 3 Exit" signs which have the pole coming up directly in the center...Make them as ploppables and not road pieces. Center mounted Sign I made a mistake on this sign, use the route marker for 202 below... Center Mounted Pole -

e350tb - Sure but what kind of transport plant? is it a bat? if so where? Yoshiisland - You could, make electronic ones for our project. I need them for one way roads and rural highways... you really could, with Houstan Fan's permission, modify his existing Rural Highway Tollbooth to a oneway road booth I'm going to compile a list of highway signs for you and post them... these can be done at any capacity and rate, there's no deadline just whatever conviniences you... Amerikaner - No problem... What area of downtown are you interested in renovating? -
