Benedict - Cool, one other thing, the railway you're expanding stations on isn't apart of the South Shore Rail Line, It is the Oconee Express Rail Line...
  2. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

Yoshiisland - That link doesn't work. Also for the bridge, Willg wanted to extend the A2 Tollway to Auringy city. If that occured then it would have to pass through Linaton and cut across the river to Auringy City. I need to know if Tuckaway Transportation would be willing to do this? If you did, the entire tollway would need to be signed probably as a subsidary of Highway 4 instead of 2 as it would no longer terminate at Highway 2. AceofSpades - Feeling mostly better today... I've still got a class today so it's likely going to be the weekend before I get to anyone's requests but we'll see...
  3. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

Benedict - Sweet deal... Btw would you happen to have any links to diagnal station bats?
  4. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

Almighty Nienaber - Correct! jacqulina - Thank you! Zarp - Okay, that'll be easy... vivydu29 - Thank you. bbfan02 - I'll consider that, they're not ploppables right, they'll just grow whenever you zone agriculture right? AceofSpades - Thanks, I have an entire USB Drive dedicated to Blue Hope... Mostly everything is organized so I know who is doing what and when aswell... That should be within your budget... Benedict - Wow! I never knew! Can I get a link? I'll get to your request asap. __________________________________________________________________ Sorry for the delays, I'm still severely tied between college and RL, Midterms aswell as moving and I just got over a major stomach flu so I'm slowly trying to get back into the pace of things here, your requests will be taken care of as soon as I can get to them... It would be safer if I didn't promise any dates but HOPEFULLY it will be this weekend.

haljackey - The freeways are just getting warmed up ... ...You just wait until Newark is capable of biulding Interstates... But thank you! Lordy Lord - Go to the website in my signature, afterward, go to Start Developing, click the bottom left "Continue" and you will see the Parcels there... Some are still not available yet and some arn't QUITE up to date due to recent development but most are still okay... The empty Parcels are still empty... or mostly empty... check them out, save an image, plot your development, host it on photobucket or imageshack, post it here, and I'll give you the costs and begin developing... Yoshiisland - Cool! I'll go over it when I can breathe alittle bit... ..As for the Highway signs, make the ones for the frontage roads, also I might have to let you remake the A2/202 Tollway signs because I might or might not have to change things on it... As for Highway 4's signs, I'm waiting because I'm deciding on whether or not I want to convert it to MIS... If I go MIS... I'll have to rebiuld 3/4ths of the freeway... the same goes for the 202/A2 Tollway... In the meantime though, Willg wants to extend the A2 Tollway to Auringy city as a full bypass around Newark... If this occurs, the whole highway would have to be renumbered as it would no long terminate or be a spawn of Highway 2... Most likely the whole highway would become 404... and yes, all of the signs would have to be edited and new ones would need to be made, but this gives you a fresh start to put them in those Menu Management Lots aswell... I'm also going to change the infastructure of the sign post alittle bit aswell... As for extending the tollway bypass to Auringy City... He will cover up to 50% of the costs incurred... All you guys need to do is plot a route and destination and tell me what standards and grades you want the tollway to be biult upon...
  6. Winchester

Wow!!! Very nice CJ! I was honestly going to suggest another option, From the South, I-79 would follow U.S. 27 from Elkton, however when reaching the I-134 Interchange, to proceed North onto Union Avenue instead and navigate to Highway 620 where it will cosign (or eliminate) with Highway 620 and proceed Northwest toward Rosewood all the way to I-34 where it could eventually depart and proceed on its course... In my honest oppion, there is no need to route I-79 along I-134 and U.S. 27 to the Northeast as there is already a sufficient freeway servicing the area, this way now the North West side of town will have faster access to Winchester and thus more development along the new freeway... Otherwise this looks extremely realistic... I recommend using the terrain slope mod for more realistic slopes on your freeways though... btw I've traveled on U.S. 27 between the Florida Turnpike and Miami Florida... it's a pretty decent highway, some interchanges along the way but mostly at grade... but to emphasis, next time I'm taking the Turnpike...
  7. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

Almighty Nienaber - How about this, because I'm trying to eliminate negative integers... you finance it... You pay a minimum of 10 Points a month to me and I will biuld the biulding for you... You will recieve your deed and income when the biulding is paid in full and with your remaining 20 points you can biuld a development that will net you some income, but you'll need to be conservative... If you decide not to biuld then just be sure to make 10 posts a month... dfnva - I was born in FortWorth and most of the signals there are horizontal. I only noticed it was very different after I moved to Chicago...I hardly see that style used widely anywere else... Basically what is going on is people are able to register a company as an investor and choose a grid and parcel image from the website ("start developing") and proceed about plotting their development, posting it, and I create it and post the finished product along with a deed to their property. This deed allows them to recieve points on a consistant monthly basis so they can buy more property, or other goodies such as featuring their development on a tour,... ...Along with that there is a storyline basically involving a peak oil crisis in which the United Nations no longer has access to the supply of abundant oil and were left to whither away by China and the Middle East... Fortunately, Newark the Island was found to have an abundant supply of oil which started an industrial revolution... However, as you go over the story updates, you'll find that the natives arn't willing to give up their oil easily...Welcome to Blue Hope.. Zarp - LoL... Yes yes nice plantation... Your points can be used for anything you wish... If you invest in weapons, I wouldn't necessarily deduct points for "weapons" as its an entity that noone can really see... ...I would instead suggest you biuld a weapons and opperations facility where you can manufacture weapontry and biuld them for yourself, or to trade... and of course if you purchase a link to the Seaport, that means you automaticly establish trade to whatever you make... and with that you'll get more points aswell...
  8. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

Almighty Nienaber - True, the site isn't complete yet and well it's ganna be awhile before it is complete. Also IHope Loans are a sole company owned by an individual user thus you won't find any of his information regarding his loans on the website... ...Just private message iamihop11 and he'll help you out from there and give you options as to what to do... Lordy Lord - Welcome and thank you... You begin with 30 Points to dispose as you please, you're paid on a monthly basis (speaking of which I REALLY need to update that points sheet...)
  9. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

beebs - More is promised as soon as I can find a slot to breathe, I'm getting creamed this weekend... Almighty Nienaber - It'll cost you 170 Points to biuld that skyscraper... ..however your income wil still far exceed your expenses... I suggest you take a loan with IHope via iamihop11...
  10. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

lilmanjs - I'll get that done for ya... Should be on the next update... Jill Jacobs - Farms near urban sprawl are simply asking for it because they take up massive amounts of land but since you mention it, I might leave a farm park as a hystoric reference in milidgeville... Basically, whats going on here is, people are purchasing land and developing their kind of developments on Newark representing an investor in an actual growing city... Much like Real Estate... people with more points actually go as far biulding subhurbs... Basically it's a fun way of biulding a real estate market in a fictional city and watch as events pass through town from time to time..
  11. Nam highway questions

Monopolis, you ARE aware that you have to press the Tab key to cycle through the different interchange options correct? They were all put into one catagory...
  12. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

rocketoink - I'll try to get a point sheet for you guys this weekend but right now things are so tight that I can offer no gauruntee's to anyone. Shingure - Good I hope you get well soon man... Greenbean418 - Hey where's the lake? Okay... I'll get that done for you by this weekend hopefully.. ... ___________________________________________ First announcement is I'm going to have to update the grids/parcels after this update to accomidate for the newer developments... And now, I've got a few things for you guys to look over before the next update... First a teaser of what kind of traffic lamps you would see on Atlantic Drive... Crossing the Avenue Portion in Midtown Crossing the Divided Highway Portion near the Shore heading Southbound... I'm contemplating on having these created as bats and then editing the Type 21 Exemplars to display these models under High Wealth conditions only on Avenues. I havn't messed with Type 21 Exemplars before though so I'm not sure how difficult it may be. And now, for the News Papers, note that these date all the way back to the explosion at the Harbour... Read up, alot of important information in there...
  13. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

rocketoink - Maximum size of your development is the amount you can afford, there is no max size...
  14. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

Shingure - Sorry to hear, hey take some Dayquil, drink plenty of Orange Juice, and most of all make some Seasoned Collard Greens and eat them aswell as their juice... For me, that knocks it out before it even gets started... Even if it does it only lasts for about a day but annoyingly it happens... I hope you feel better soon. Yoshiisland - Okay, just select a Grid on the Oconnee River in Parcel 21 and show how and where you want the bridge to be biult, what type of bridge and, where it will extend from, hand how much roadway after it, Tuckaway Transportation would own... Will it be tolled?...
  15. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

Shingure - Very well, I'll get that done hopefully by this weekend... Things are going hard and slow for me at the moment but I should have it soon.
  16. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

willg - Where in Parcel 20? Is it off of the Oconee River? If so, the bridges there are already high enough to allow ships to pass.. Civil Engineering was smart enough to prepare for the future... Speaking of bridges... you reminded me of something _________________________________________ Proposal... Access from Linaton to Auringy? Currently, There is no access between Auringy and Linaton besides taking a long drive across the Oconee River via North Bridge just north of Eaton... This means Linaton has no access to The East/West Connector until Downtown Newark... The commute could be vastily shortened should a bridge crossing the Oconee River be completed... It would leap over the Oconee between Linaton and Millidgeville and complete its course to Auryingy city and provide access to the E/W Connector at the proposed Exit... Should this bridge be biult?
  17. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

Greenbean418 - Thank you... ...You've definately been missing for awhile as alot of the procedure has changed mainly to make things less time consuming and easier on my part... ...For your request of Parcel 3... from now on when you want to see a Parcel and its grid images ANYWERE in Newark .. #1. go to http://bluehopecityjournal.w00ty.com #2. Select "Start Developing" #3. I'll trust you know how to keep things civil so select "I have read the Rules - CONTINUE" #4. When it loads, all of Newarks Parcels will be displayed... you may select which Parcel you want to see from here... #5. Select the Grid Coordinate or Coordinates you're interested in starting your developement in. #6. Right click the image and select "Save Picture As" #7. Plot your development... #8. Save your image and upload it to a Photobucket or Imageshack account... #9. When it's finished, post the image here in this thread with your key and instructions... I will no longer post grid images of Newark for development purposes... all images must be downloaded from the website... Since it's been awhile, I also highly suggest you go back and watch the storyline videos... With Companies, they exists to help organize developments basically... one company could be focused on making one kind of development while another would be focused on another development... ...A transportation company would be more likely to create a Highway than an Residential Developer... and a user can have multiple companies and his points divided between them... basically it's organization...
  18. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

lilmanjs - Very well, I need atleast 3 more tour requests before I innitiate the grande tour video... As for your inquiry about the area changing after the video is released, it will have to wait until a new grande tour because development is happening far to rapidly to keep the videos up to date... Even the East/West connector video is about 50% out dated from its release point and it was released in November... Mr. Monorail Man - To get the turning lanes, you have to install NAM (Network Addition Mod)... It's an optional option to install... NAM can be found easily in the Mods section... (I use Avenue and Road turning lanes) _______________________________________________ Time for an Update... First off... YOU MAY ALL NOW REQUEST POLICE/FIRE STATIONS IN YOUR DEVELOPEMENTS - Soni unlocked them by defeating Sean. _____________________________________ The Newark Grand Tour Video Has Begun!!! You can request to have your development added to the Grande Tour Video for 100 Points per development, city, ect... I require a minimum of four developments before it will be published... Currently we have ONE participant... Here's the list lilmanjs Tuckaway Tuckaway Highway If you're interested, just drop a message and I'll add you to the list... ______________________________________ Finally, a VOTE! Auringy City has become the Hub for Millidgeville, much like a downtown sector however the development has spawned and broken ground on an awkward portion of Highway 304 leaving the access point to the East/West connector, miles away making for hard commutes too and from Downtown Newark... ..Some basic Civil Engineering hopes to resolve this issue by locating an Exit Ramp for Auryingy city (Downtown Millidgeville) just north of the town on a local road... Civil Engineers have evaluated the possible options for a Stage 1 Interchange and requests the public oppinion to determine the best possible solution... Option A No relocation of the Railroad will be necesssary, The East/West Connector Eastbound lanes will be relocated and the entire freeway will be diverted over an overpass over the exit... The ramps will exit and merge from the center... This will mean traffic will be forced to merge and enter from the left...This will change should this portion become Interstate Standard... Option B Standard simple Diamond Interchange which will require little modificatin to the surrounding area... Eastbound Lanes will be rebiult closer to the Westbound Lanes, possibaly eliminating the Island altogether... Option C The diamond will remain, loop around ramps will provide Exit from the Eastbound Lanes and entrance to the Westbound Lanes... Westbound lanes will offer a speedup period during entry... Railroad to be slightly relocated... No modification to the East/West Connector. ______________

lilmanjs - Waiting to see who wants their city or development included as noone has seemed to respond to that offer... it costs 100 points per development / city you want me to feature and yes I can use your music...
  20. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

lilmanjs - It's in queue for the next Update along with Shingure's development... ...I can't possibaly fulfill everyones request at once especially with college and RL pretty much monopolizing my time... ...When I prepare updates I have to gather everyones information, photos long before I post it... Meaning if you give me information regarding your development after I have collected a batch for an update... It will have to wait until I collect the next batch because if it didnt then the current batch could practically wait infinitely before I posted it (people continueing to send requests while I'm compiling the update) so I have to divide them up... Doesn't mean I'm ignoring your request, it just means that I'm fitting it into a time slot in which I can conviniently convey it in...

Story Update 5 was reuploaded into the bluehope CJ website, Beggining now is a new chapter in the story and with that, all previous Videos have been compiled into a Zip and uploaded into a different server for space reasons... I highly suggest rewatching Story Update 5 as it did NOT show the new harbor in the end as it does now... Small but Important Update... Story Update 5 never completed its upload and thus noone saw the ENTIRE movie, because of this... I have relocated the videos into a more abundant server... The website will remain where it stands... READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY FOR THE PREVIOUS VIDEOS!!! The older videos have been compiled into one compilation in a Zip File... They include The East/West Connector The 202/A2 Video Story Update 3 Story Update 4 (Story Update 5 will remain at its current location for now as it is new) You will need to DOWNLOAD these movies in order to watch them... YOU WILL NEED WINZIP!!! Windows Zip Utility Extractor will NOT work because I had to divide the Zip Files into 22 Megabyte Incraments (the Server will not accept anything larger than 25 MB's per file)... Now follow these instructions carefully.. ...First, download ALL of the zip files from the list below... DO NOT EXTRACT THE PRIMARY ZIP FILE FIRST... FIRST You will need to Extract the Zip1 through Zip11 files into the directory the Primary Zip is contained in... this will release the files the Primary Zip file will extract... ...Afterward... Unzip the Primary Zip File and it should put the file together.. and the videos will be inside... Primary Zip Zip1 Zip2 Zip3 Zip4 Zip5 Zip6 Zip7 Zip8 Zip9 Zip10 Zip11 Zip12 I suggest re-watching story update 5 to see the new seaport... Also soon I'm going to edit the first page of this CJ to make it more user friendly and possibaly release the first few story updates in a Video Format... I'm also contemplating on implementing the "Download the Parcel and Edit it yourself" as an Express Update Featur
  22. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

Benedict - Thank you... KingTitan - Thanks... there's more to come Shingure - Thank you and for the most part it's okay... The demand is mostly for the R$ and C$ developments... willg - The entire video didn't transfer through due to space concerns which I am currently working out so noone saw quite the entire thing... or atleast I don't think... but the new Seaport was shown at the very end... You can purchase it if you desire, I have nothing against it I just wanted to biuld it first because I needed to rescape the land in the area. You are also free to biuld another seaport in a location of your choice... The Arrowz - At the time I was doing it, it costed $15 a Day. I so badly wished there was a direct freeway there but I no longer do it... Instead I've gotten crazier and I now commute to Alpharetta to College from Stockbridge, that means I deal with the worst sectors of traffic in Atlanta on a daily basis while commuting roughly the same miles... and yes... it still costs me atleast $15 a day to pull it off... ... But I'm moving closer to there very soon... ...What is your major?
  23. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

willg - Done lilmanjs - Darn I havn't heard from him either, speaking of I'm also looking for MPTC... Shingure - Okay, that will be quick and easy, give me a day... Zarp - Right now... __________________________________________________ First off, the story has been updated again and can be viewed HERE ...It is still uploading, I posted at 3:07 A.M. ... Try waiting until 5 A.M. on Wednesday Morning before trying to load it if it doesn't work on th first try.... I highly suggest watching it as some of the updates are also there... ..It does have sound... _______________________________________ Secondly... you can now request RCI Demand Stats to aid with your development planning ... RCI Demand Stats for a Parcel costs 50 Points and will be private messaged to you... This is to help you plan your developments as some developments arn't really becoming what they should due to the lack of their demand...For example, currently everyone is biulding bed and breakfast areas while the industrial economy has been the one booming since this CJ has begun.... ... Eventually this information will be posted on the website and update regularly free of charge but until I can find and maintain the time it take to do it, this is a suitable alternative.. _______________________________________ Finally, Third - I am going to work on a portion of the website in which you can continuesly view your most up to date development, a photo will be taken of it every week. It costs 50 Points per photo and must maintain for a month term without any changes... Anyone who's interested, feel free to say so... _______________________________________ I want to congratulate and present WillG with his deeds and developments. The expansion of the Coutils Estates community located off of Tuckaway Highway, we present to you... Greater Coutils! And... Auringy City, the Centra of Millidgeville... Here is your deed... ______________________________________ Zarp you're next... Zarp continues his quest by expanding his farms into branches, or a giant plantation. Will Zarp become Soni's next Arch Rival? and Zarp, here is your deed... ______________________________________ The fall of Sean has attracted many more foreig Industries... Just to name a few off of Lantia Parkway...
  24. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

lilmanjs - That won't be too hard, I'll have it momentarily... Did you and Houston_Fan come to terms about what was going to happen at Tuckaway Highway? willg - Here is the pricing information for your second development... Expenses Cost for Roads 58 Cost for Residential 212.1 Cost for Commercial 69.3 Cost for Industrial 0 Cost for Parks
  25. Blue Hope - The Interactive City Journal

Mr. Monorail Man - Oh you'll see.. willg - I need a name for your first development, it will cost... Expenses Cost for Roads 112.7 Cost for Residential 414.7 Cost for Commercial 187.9 Cost for Industrial 41.6 Cost for Parks
