Thanks for trying to assist me, N_O_Body, I appreciate it. At the moment I'm only using NAM and the Hole Digging Mod. All I want apart from those 2 mods are more playermade lots. I'm getting abit tired of the same lots that Maxis has provided, so I wanted to get some new ones, and there are so many welldone ones here. The problem is that many of them require I download dependencies, and I guess I'm simply getting some that conflicts with each other. I honestly don't know which I should get. I mean, I got alot of different BSC packs like MEGA Prop, Textures... so many that they just confuse me alot. When I'm looking for new lots, I basically click "Residental" and look down the list, and grab what looks cool, I make sure to get the dependencies as well, and place them in the correct folders (I think). I know it's ALOT to ask, but... might as well try... is there any chance someone here could pack a collection of dependencies and possible a bunch of growable R, C and I lots into a zip file or something...? Or maybe just tell me how I can make sure that the stuff I download won't mess up my cities? I don't know how I should "test" the lots and dependencies individually in game, since the the crashes doesn't happen constantly. Thanks in advance. Edit: If it makes any difference, I'm playing the European (english) Simcity 4 Deluxe Edition, fully patched.

Removed all downladed files, deleted my city, and rebuild. Got a nice, big city and thought I'd try to download some mods and lots. Bad idea, it happened again, and this time to a pretty big city. I guess I'll delete this one too, and stick to playing the game without addons and mods...

Ok, I've tried experimenting for a while now, and it only seems to happen in this city. So I've decided to just trash it, and start over. It started happening after I downloaded custommade lots and mods, so even though I removed what I could after, I still think it might have corrupted something. On that note, if anyone can point me to a nice pack with various custommade R/C/I lots, so I don't have to download a million different things, that will just mess up my city again, I'd appreciate it very, very much.

So placing a Road Tile is risking a gamecrash, and that's common? I'm supposed to just... stop building in that city? Doesn't really matter how often I save, if it means I can't build anything in that area.

Thank you, but are you sure it will help? I'd hate to see it happen again. I kept playing the city for 1 more hour since I posted this, and the same thing happened at another spot. I tried to zone something, I don't remember what, and the game just crashed, and I had wasted 1 hour of citybuilding. >_< What is this "CJ's" that you're mentioning btw?

I recently bought the Simcity 4 Deluxe Edition, and after a few days, I wanted to try to get some playermade lots. I found this place, and I downloaded some awesome creations, and made sure to read up on dependencies etc. After playing a few hours, and occasionally spotting some of the new buildings I downloaded, I ran into an error. When I tried to extend a road as shown on the image,I got crashed straight to the desktop, without any kind of error message. EDIT: Picturelink: http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/4990/pic2gd.png This happened again and again, so I tried to patch the game. Same error happened. I tried to remove all plugins. Deleted the folder, same thing. I tried reinstalling the game, saving only my Cities and Region. Same problem. Now I really don't know what's left to do. All I can think of is delete my city/region. Deleting this one city isn't a bit issue, since it's pretty new and low-pop, but I really don't wanna delete my entire region if I'mnot even sure it'll help. What can I do? EDIT: I have no idea why the picture doesn't show, cause when I want to edit my message, I can see it.
