  1. Screenshots (Pre-Release)

Also, as mystic_horizon stated, there will be a GEM to expand and deepen railway construction, maintanance and effects. Highway junctions - you can't make a highway junction without a highway, which will be also implemented later. But as the "roads" video shows, the player appears to have more freedom in making interchanges, on/off-ramps, junctions, etc than ever before.
  2. The Headwaters of Nemonos

More than ready. I keep checking this thread, still holding on to the hope that it was updated. But, as it seems, not today...
  3. The Headwaters of Nemonos

First off, I'd like to say I'm a big fan of your CJ. I love the way you use your buildings, plan newer areas and re-plan old ones, and all the "Newspaper" concept you've put in. Second, I have a suggestion on how to continue - what if, let's say, a war was started and Nemonos needed to respond? The population would get smaller as more and more citizens depart for war-torn territories, politicians would rise and fall, memorial parks and statues would start appearing... or maybe even the war would take place somewhere near the Nemonos, forcing the people to take up arms and fight for their homes! I hope you find my idea interesting. If not, well, good luck finding a more suitable one!
  4. Three Rivers Region

greatest map I have ever downloaded :)
  5. Good news for Mac users.

I really don't like to break the news, but... It's been more than four years since the last all-new SimCity game, the SimCity 4: Rush Hour expansion pack, hit store shelves. Today, though, Electronic Arts confirmed the series will return with an all-new installment, SimCity Societies. The game will be released solely for PCs this coming holiday season, with a price and rating to be announced.quote> - Gamespot article
  6. How do you feel about the SCS announcement?

I almost got dizzy when I read the preview at 1up. No more zonning? No more pipe laying? If I wanted that I'd play City Life. This is definitely the mortal blow to the SC series. The only good part to all this is that we still have SC4. I sure hope Maxis is feeling the same way we do - maybe they'll make a new attempt at the series, one that would do justice to the whole SC community.
