man. in my city, i run on a HUGE budget thanks to some genius planning. i make a lot of money off of the middle class and tolls..and i keep all my tax rates (except the low wealth) well below 9%. it stimulates growth. -

abandoned, eh? it looks like you need to stop zoning. best thing to do is increase taxes on the sections that are going abandoned....there is little demand for it and you dont want more of those opening up and going broke. NEXT, lower taxes on the other things. if residential is going abandoned, lower commercial taxes so more jobs become available...your buildings should stop becoming abandonded then. i have plenty of crap-ass zones in my city...i'm working on them one block at a time. it take sa lot of tedious gameplay, but you WILL be rewarded in 5-6 yearsl -
