I was wondering if anyone knew of some downloads on the ST-Exchange that can make your suburbs look better then what Maxis gives us. Ive looked through alot of the BATs and what not but I couldnt find any good ones. Any help?

I too am having problems with NAM. I just reinstalled SimCity 4 and downloaded NAM and everytime I try to open the zipped folder it says "The Compressed Folder (zipped) is invalid or corrupted." I dont have any addons or plugins. What do I do?

So what exactly do each of them do? Like, are BATs buildings that just pop up in a zone? Or do I have to place them myself? Im just really confused with the whole thing. God I'm such an old man.

Ok, so Ive been surfing the site for a few days now and I realised that there are thousands of programs, mods, and files for download. IM starting to get confused about what the different files are (3ds, BAT, Lot, and Prop). I dont know what any of those are. Could someone give me a rundown please? Also, what are some of the essential programs/mods/files that I should download? Thanks in advance everyone :-)

So after freights reach the edge of the map, there really is no need to continue the tracks onto the other map is there?

Now about freight stations. I dont fully understand where exactly to put them. Do I need only one? Or another station to transfer to?
