  1. Disasters

No offense meant but I think the 9/11 terrorist attacks should not be in the game. We need to be sensitive to the feelings of those who lost their beloved ones in that attack.
  2. Will you buy it?

Yes! I will buy Cities Unlimited. Why? Because: 1) The pictures got me excited about the game (attention to EA: DO NOT put up ulgy screenshots in your marketing efforts) 2) The interview so far indicates that the game would not deviate very far from the core mechanics of city simulation 3) Phillipe and gang are so cool. They are willing to spend time listening to the fans. Let my purchase be my vote of confidence for Monte Cristo.
  3. Cities Unlimited

I think it will be safest to have 50:50 US and European sets, assuming that that's where the bulk of the players are from. In future expansion packs, allow other cultural sets to take centerplace like, Saudi, Japanese, Chinese...etc The sets that the initial launch missed can be filled up pretty quickly if the game ships with an intuitive building tool like the one from City Life Deluxe. < > With the talents of the HK bat team on Simtrop, I have full confidence that within 6 months of the initial launch, there will be an entire Asian set to download. Cheers

  5. The Lighter Side of SCS?

Wouldn't refined Alpaca wool from a mill so tilted be skewed?

  7. Cities Unlimited

Noticed how this latest picture has a ferris wheel, yet it retains an authentic city feel compared to SCS first screen shot (that included a ferris wheel as well) I see a bus in the picture - well, at least we know that there are buses in the game. Looking forward to more screenshots...Thank you Philippe
  8. Monte Cristo is at it again...

...crushedcar comments on almost crushed pedestrian....symbolism you say?
  9. Monte Cristo is at it again...

I am not saying CityLife's next take on the series will do better than SCS. I am just saying that screenshot really rocks. It's almost like what I imagined SC5 should have been...pity.
  10. Monte Cristo is at it again...

Wow! Jaw dropping graphic..check...Realistic buildings..check...Street view, animated citizens, variety of cars, AND IN-GAME ADVERTISEMENTS!!! This looks freaking cool. What an irony, Simcity became Citylife and Citylife turned into Simcity....
  11. What We Know So Far

You suspect? Well, let me confirm your suspicions. I never liked CityLife or "social engineering". Let the city planners enjoy their city planning and leave the social engineering to politicians. Any politicians who likes "big brother" type of society manipulation, this one is for you.
