looking really good! I like the road curve usage. Did that make sense? Not sure if I like the road texture mod though, the one that makes it look brick? also looks like those people are having fun at the beach...haha!! Keep it up. edit...page 3!!

Or you can use the button above where you write your message, it looks like a mountain with a little box in the corner, next to the smiley icon. When you click it, just put the URL of your picture in the URL box and hit okay. As for resizing, you can either do it yourself in Photoshop or some such editing program, or on imageshack when you upload, there's an 800x600 option. See this thread under "How to Post Pictures on Simtropolis." He suggests using printscreen but I always use ctrl+shift+s for taking pictures ingame without the menu. Don't know about the pixelation issues.

For PC: https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=380 For Mac: https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=388 It's pretty self-explanatory. I think you can put it in your plug-ins folder (It's been a while since I downloaded the NAM lol, sorry) and it has an installer.

Sounds like a common problem some people are having. Please post in this thread and don't start new ones on this topic. Thanks.

Ok, I told ya I'd get around to this lol. I do understand why you link them though so eh, I just prefer 800x600s. Man, that is a skyscraper forest! Lol What are those globe statue lookin things next to the highway in the sixth picture? Hmm, I see someone else has the apple box building lol...too great! Happy Thanksgiving to you I did not realize it was thanksgiving for our northern neighbors. See ya later!

Cows! I like the cows. Nice long mosaic too with lots of open green space. Lovely job, beebs!

Overview Mosaic Just a little something I made for the first page of Tierra. After I post this I'll go put it on the front page, which I know none of you look at anymore (and please don't, my early cities are nothing to behold), but I thought maybe some new person might want to acquaint himself with Tierra. Random question, does the text look pixely to you? It looks pixely to me, but this monitor is a widescreen and all my pictures look different on it... (The computer I Photoshop with is a different one, doesn't have Internet...) Edit: I forgot replies...How horrible of me! I will do those next time.

Haha actually I did check out the label service (By Craig) and got meself this sig image! oh, I just now realized I forgot to give credit humm...Will do that right now. [Fixes it] Hopefully it won't completely erase my sig again...Ive been having problems with that...Ah I'm rambling now. Oh oh a GIMP filter...Sorry I've never used the gimp but I've heard it's pretty good. Well, filters are like, anyone can do that lol. I like the perspective you did to 11.5 though....Oh wait I said that in my last comment...(It's been too long!) Kinda flat looking but sharp and clear. I think Scipio edited a picture like that for me once but I could never figure it out myself. Yeah I didn't even see that with the mall photo. Haha yeah hope to see you in TdlO...I'm updating tomorrow(if all goes as planned...but nothing ever goes as planned lol) But I shall not advertise my journal here. I suppose I should reply to the actual update now! (There's an update? ) Oh, I got an honorable mention! Thanks! I definitely agree w/Alicante City being on there. One of my fave cj's! I think EYECANDY should be on the top list tho lol. I have to agree w/your other choices, even though I never saw some of those because I havne't been around long enough. Lol sorry I don't have time to read all the text But I like all the trees! and the little houses at the base of the mountain. And your planning. Poor mountain, it has a bald spot Argh why is it that every time I visit here I write a book? Sorry well I'll see you next update!

Well, I like the mosaic idea. Makes your CJ unique, so I hope you dont stop doing that. I think you would find Photoshop(or something similar) a very useful tool. (Dont ask me how to do anything though lol, I learned it mostly by trial and error) The teaser looks really good. I am curious to see what you will show us. Poor balenbree...Lol its destiny is to be poor and abandoned. Cuesta verde looks interesting though. -
Heya haljackey. I liked your 10/04 update. The large avenue intersection scaries me though. Glad I don't have to drive through that! Some interesting BATs in the 2 pictures after that. I like the recentest (?? haha bad grammar) update too. Esp the use of greenery & trees. Nicely done!

Thank you for the reply! Oh, oh its so pretty! That is a gorgeous BAT to begin with, but the surroundings are perfect, with the trees, fountains, gardens. Did you lot the median for the avenue/road? Because I havent seen it before. Sorry if that's a dumb question...I seem to recall your doing quite a bit of custom lotting. Looking forward to seeing the update. -
YES! You started a CJ. (city construction journal, whatever). (And I get first comment, woo!) This looks like a very organized and good start. Cant wait to see the architecture. Thats interesting about the zoning!! Now i know why they look that way. Oh, I like "Big Shopping Street" on that map I think I would want to spend a lot of time there! Haha

Oh! Beebs! Is that the new Simtrop theme for 2009?

Clearly, they should be pink.

wow, this is a really cool CJ. I like your photoshopping of captions. Not too keen on the angled thing in the last update, though the first few "overview" shots looked really cool, like from an airplane. Oh wait you said you don't use Photoshop. Well whatever editor then! It looks great! The other pics are fabulous, too. I especially love the nature shots, with the trees and cliffs. Wow!! My only suggestion would be to avoid the closest zoom, since it gets pixely - I really wish you could get closer in too There'd be some awesome detail there. Great job! -
Oops, I think I missed one. I like the new banner!!! It looks really good. Though, you went nuts a long time before banner making. Just kidding!! I like what you did with the pictures. They look like they have a different angle or something, or maybe that's because it's on a hill. Either way, it looks nice! I want to see these cabins now, I bet they have a great view.
-
Don't worry about a lack of comments. I liked your use of Peg's ponds and seeing how you grew your suburbs. That road texture makes it look sharp too.

Heading south is always a lovely idea. The main square with the angel statue is very pretty. I love all the colorful BATs you use although i've probably said that before sorry. Hahaha confusing street plan! All my cities are like that...Eh... I adore the farms, so bright and detailed! My favorite is the last pic, except the blurring, sorry! Without it I think the pic would be perfect, but that's just me. Great work!
