I would like to make my own plain map with different sizes and location of cities. I have searched unsuccesfully for about an hour and can't find how to do it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Hi, I currently have the Nam installed but wanted to update it. I previously installed the traffic plugin radical custom special, it seems not to be working now so I wanted to update it and try to get this fixed. So I was attempting to update my Nam and saw that the traffic plugin radical custom special file was not there. Is there some reason for this? Does this file not work? I see on the installation instructions that it is listed there but when I go to install this with the installer it is just not listed. I am interested in increasing capacities for all transporations. Thanks in advance!

I am having this same problem in my cities. There are workers there, but the route query says there are no commuters there. I still can't figure out what is causing this. I heard a suggestion to buildoze your neighbor connections let the simulation run, then reconnect, though this might cause other problems in the city. I havn't tried this yet. So play at your own risk. Another reason could be because of the demand mods creatting fake demand? Not sure. Well hope this helps.

This has always gotten the best of me, but now I am reworking my sim city files. Just wondering... Is it in good practice that I place my .Dat files in my program files/plugin folders? I am guessing this is so other files can read the same .Dats? And my lot and .bat files in my MyDocs/Plugins? Thanks! -Jabbering

Hi all, Just wanted to say, I received my disks the day after I posted this original message, got them on Oct 27. It took a bit longer than I expected. I think maybe the expected receive date for the CD's should be moved back to maybe 2-4 weeks, it would prolly stop all the "I haven't gotten my disks threads" and I think the people will be pleased if they get them when they expect to instead of 2-3 weeks after they should have. Just my opinion -Jabber P.S If anyone reads this, I have concerns about the CD's compatibility with my city and my downloads that I already have. I don't want my current cities to esplode or anything like that. If there is a place for tips and hints on this topic please lead the way. Thanks!!!!!

Hi My plugin files are so screwy right now...everything is in every wrong place it could possibly be. I am just looking for confirmation about where this stuff goes. So... do MODS go in the program/plugin folder? Do bats and lots go in the mydocuments/plugin folder? Or is it vice versa? What about dependencies? Im guessing program/plugins. I figure because when the game starts it reads from the program/plugin folder first...then reads the documents/plugin folder next...so order of them loading up counts. Better yet...can anyone point me to a thread about this?? Thanks for taking my call! Jabber
