This one is really easy: Just reply with a Ctrl+V and show everyone what's lingering on your clipboard. You might be surprised at what your fellow ST enthusiasts are copying. But please, let's keep it clean. I'll start it off: http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?threadID=354558

The Official City Journal Critics Thread Archive
sanantonio replied to patriots_1228's topic in SC4 City Journals
Hi all, I haven't been around for 6 months or so; many don't know me, the rest won't remember me, but it's nice to see this is still going strong. Makes catching up that much faster. I've been playing with the idea of reviving my CJ hopefully to the point of being able to submit it for review. -

I'm a victim of RLS myself. Once I feel my CJ is a little more fleshed out, I will submit it for review. -

Is this thread still alive? There have been quite a few new CJs popping up, and it would be a shame if the bulk went un-reviewed. -

Good review, patriots_1228, but the link to Nyhaven wouldn't work for me. -

Just curious what the other critics have been up to...7 on the list, but only 3 reviewers so far...none of the other 4 have even posted in here - they do know this thread exists, right? -

I know what you were saying, I just had to chime in with a (half)clever remark. So how to we get this thing pinned? The critics are doing a wonderful job, and respect both CJ authors and readers. Here's a ducky: . My only qualm is the green text is a little harsh on the eyes; the red text SpecialEddie used was the easiest, but black works too. My 2 pennies. As I don't visit the CJ's as much as I used to, it's nice to have them featured here with some insight as to what I should expect. Keep up the good work, people!! -

*dons "the official city journal critics thread unofficial banner critic" hat* good effort, but can i suggest grouping thoughts together. ie: The Official City Journal Critics Thread It my just be me, but I read it as: The Official City ---|--- Journal Critics Thread What is "The Official City?" Oh, wait...City Journal Critics... Probably just me, but like I said, It's a really good effort. Shouldn't be too hard to tweak...If you don't mind, I'll give one a try...maybe tomorrow after work. Sorry for the centered text, but I can't figure out how (if possible) to only make pieces of my reply centered. Se La Vi. *removes "the official city journal critics thread unofficial banner critic" hat* And now back to our regularly scheduled reviews... -
There's a trick...it's not perfect, but it's better than nothing... Assuming you have the NAM installed, pick a road puzzle piece and lay a ramp facing the entrance to the parking lot. B=Building, P=Parking, R=Ramp, S=Street/Road, X=Bulldoze me BBBPPPRRRX BBBBBBS BBBBBBS BBBBBBS Then bulldoze the farthest piece back (the part on the ground) and the ramp will "fall" with the end still pointing at your parking lot. Clean up the excess and connect to your street/road and you should be good to go. There is a tutorial around here somewhere, but I'm too lazy to look, and it's really not difficult to do. Of course, this doesn't make the lots transit enabled, it just fudges the lines on the road.
