Has the Rural Highway Set been officially released? That would be nice. Here's the current city I'm working on for an upcoming CJ...I jumped the gun a little putting this together, so it will change by the time the Journal is ready. You may be able to tell how the rest of this tile will fill out...until then, just thought I'd share. Ideas, suggestions, criticisms welcomed and encouraged. Click for Larger View 40 yrs, just under 10,000 residents. The "test" was to see if a city could function forcing Sims to take mass transit thoroughfares. Looks to be working so far, but double or triple the population and there could be trouble. -
Terrence - I have no idea what you just said. your picture needs no words, though. have an 8/10. LP - it's a poorly lit corner of a typical city block. sorry if I'm missing something, but nothing about it stands out as far as Terraforming, Lots, Landscaping, Transit, etc. I know you can do better - I've seen it. If a six makes you feel bad, have a 7, no...have a 9. It's just a number based on an opinion of someone you don't know nor will likely ever meet. I suddenly have a feeling this will score low.

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. Think for yourself. Question authority." Not to mention that I've seen both Tool and APC several times live and at almost every show Maynard said at some point, "Think for yourself, question authority."quote> Why would I read the lyrics to one of my favorite songs? I've seen Maynard live many a time as well, and just because cetain words come out of someone's mouth does not make it their quote. How many people have said, "I'm Rick James, b****!"? Not even Rick James, himself (were he capable), can claim that one.

And Maynard never said that, nor did he say this: "Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration; that we are all of one consiousness experiencing itself, subjectively; there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather." -- Bill Hicks

hamsterTK - Note the modifier preceeding your dreaded outdoor activity. There's actually a great disc golf course in your area - I went to school at A&M and played Disc Golf at Research Park many times...you should check it out sometime. All you need is a disc - you can get used ones at Play-It-Again Sports for less than $5. I swear your view of golf will change once you disassociate the ball and club.
