  1. Huge congratulations to the NAM 2009 team, it all looks fantastic.. however I am having problems with just one thing. I have attached photos but I dont have faith that they will upload! Anyway presuming that they have, the problem is illustrated by the larger of the photos. I am playing the Delux left handed drive version and have been playing SC4 for a long time so I am extremely familiar with the way things connect together and the mechanics of the game. The problem is that the one way roads are not connecting with the ramps as pictured. They physically connect but cars cannot use them and it would seem as if I had installed the right hand version onto the left hand drive game. Before anyone suggests it, I haven't, and I also have uninstalled the previous versions of the NAM and in fact removed all plugins temporarily apart from the NAM but I still have this issue. The arrows on the larger picture reveal what the game thinks it is playing at... Has anyone else had this same difficulty and overcome it? As always, very grateful to the modding team!
  2. Cities Unlimited

Well CU certainly has my attention, however, I think that anyone who believes this to be too British has never visited Britain. So they've stuck some landmark london buildings in a screenshot but LOOK AT THE ROADS - the single most important thing in my opinion which distinguishes european cities from U.S. and canadian ones. I would suggest anyone who does not know what I am talking about gets on Google Earth and explores both sides of the pond. From the screen shot, the roads meet on right angles which certainly does not indicate that CU will be British. It is encouraging to see cars driving on the left for us Brits, Irish, Aussies NZ'ers and all but I would have to see how the game works to be sure that the game is capable of creating realistic British/European cities. It is also worth mentioning that British roads are much narrower than those of most other countries (especially north america) and my cities whilst being as antigrid as possible do look odd because the building density is too low due to the wide roads.
  3. How do you feel about the SCS announcement?

As someone who knows nothing about programming or software development, I am just interested to know (having seen all of the talent which has existed in modding the game) whether it would be possible for this community of die hard city creating fans with all of our hopes and wishes to create a game amongst us. I really have no idea since I am not an expert myself but I do see a lot of passion, energy and enthusiasm and wonder if this could be put to use??
