I am wondering what the significance of the fireworks I see quite regularly in my city is. Doesn't seem to be coming from any common stuff, just randomly shooting up fireworks.I was just developing a new area and had it on pause, and it was going crazy popping off fireworks in this area. WHat does this mean? Thanks.

I don't really find them annoying, was more curious. I have looked and the area it was coming from has no special bldgs that I can see. theres a Universtity and some hi density lots. I do have a resort hotel but its a ways removed from this. Ah well, not real important. Thanks --Anna

Ah I see, must have been new years then. i will have to keep an eye out for that. I do hae a mayors mansion. Not sure thats where it was coming from. I will check that and post back if its something diffetnt. I am curious now. Thanks.

If he means the arrow on the zone square itself, I suere don't see anyway to rotate it. Yes you can rotate the arrow on bldgs before you plop them, but the zone, the green square, blue square? I don't see how. What I do when it ends up not pointing to a road, is dezone it, then rezone it and the arrow points to the road on the 2nd attempt. I also just try to make sure its pointing towards roads as I zone. But I do not see anyway to rotate the zone square itself. Ami I missing something?

I would love to turn that auto roads off, I hate it. How do you do that? I held the shift key down but that just makes them not visible, it still has them when I let go of the shift key. Not sure I follow you on the bus stop. I usually put bus stops at intersections, snuggled inside the 90degree, so road is on two sides of it, the front of the station and the side. Is this wrong? they are on the corner, to put it more simply, is this blocking something then? Thanks for your help

Ah ok, thank you for that information. I never noticed these arrows. I have experiemented a small amount and see what you mean. However it seems they always point to the roads. But I know better, as I can look in other parts of the city and see some that are not pointing to the road. How does it happen that they don't point to a road or street? Is it something I have done wrong? That confuses me. Theres sure a lot to learn with this game! )

Nothing like reviving a 2+ year old discussion, but I have this problem, and I have two questions..what arrows??? and how do I change their direction? This problem is really annoying. At least I see there is an apparent answer but I don't understnad it. Thanks
