About Me
I have always had a passion for urban planning and Engineering, growing up in the shadow of Philadelphia and New York City.
In addition to skyscrapers and Engineering, one of my main areas of interest in real-life urban planning is mass transit. I am a huge train-buff, especially I have a passion for "Maintenance of Way" operations on subways, trolley lines, and heavy and light rail. I have photographed trains in the largest transit systems in nearly every major US city, as well as London, Paris, and Toronto.
I became a memeber of the "50 club", visiting all 50 US states, in August, 2004 at just shy of 22 years old. My travels have taken me to 12 countries on 3 continents, (Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Brazil). One of my favorite activities are hiking/climbing active volcanoes. Yes, you read that right, active volcanoes! I also enjoy paintball, airsoft, and curling.
In my professional life, I have a degree in Chemistry, I speak Spanish very well, and I am considering learning more languages soon. I am also very interested in Geology, and I take photographs of Snowflakes under the microscope. I have worked in the Enivornmental Science field, as well having experience in the Steel and Glass Industries. Yes, I do know it is ironic I love volcanoes, and have worked around molten steel! I am single and never married.
