I have been trying for a long time to build my slum city. One where the crime rate is high, and everything looks pretty bad and overly populated. But everytime I try I still get the high wealth sims. And before you ask, I don't build any schools, I build like one clinic, there is no water, and barely any police coverage. Why are they still coming??? AND why do they stay? I'll even see no job zots, but they NEVER abandon. Can someone tell me what I'm doing incorrectly??? Thanx, Felisha

Well I know it couldn't be anything wrong, because I have everything at the max level as far as funding goes....maybe they are just having fun. Thanx 4 ur responses guys!

Ok, this may just be me because I always look at the little things, but I notice that across the street from my convention center I see little sims with picket signs. Anybody know what that's about?

Ok, I know this is horrible...but I really want to see what it would be like to have a really bumy slum city...but what I want to know is, will it affect my other cities? All of my cities are predominately R$$$. Will that bring down the region or should I just continue with my experiment?

Hmm, has there ever been a Mod or lot, that someone uploaded that was malicious, or ruined someones game on purpose???

I was having that problem yesterday too, but mine would barely go to the EA games logo, before it crashed. I just restarted my computer and didn't close as many programs as I did the first time...it worked fine after that.

...it probably was from something you downloaded. One day while I was playing a headline came up saying something along the lines of broccli improves sex life or something like that... I figured it was from something I downloaded...I just laughed and kept on playing!

I always thought that you were just supposed to copy the .dat file, and the dependecies in to the plugins folder and just trash or save the readme in another folder...

I keep getting timeout expired messages...

Ok, I'm obviouly not a novice at the game (or I wouldn't be asking the question) but I do know how to put together a good bus system...but that's about it. I've always been intimidated by the highways, and subways and rail...etc, etc...for fear that I will ruin my game and go bankrupt. Does anybody have any advice on how I can slowly bring this into my game with messing it up?
