Given that generally, 25 squares equals 1 mile in SimCity 3000, I divided 5,280 ft (1 mile) by 25, which equals 211.2 ft. If you query a single tile, it will say it's 1 acre. One square acre equals 208.71 ft on all sides -- pretty close to my above calculation. The inaccurate thing here is that if you look at one of the low density residential houses, you will see that they take up the whole tile alone! To put this in perspective, a football field is 300 ft long from goal line to goal line. How many common suburban houses do you know of that almost stretch an entire football field?
