Better bulldozing in SimCity 3000

Ever wish you could bulldoze highway interchanges, bridges, etc., one tile at-a-time without losing the whole thing at once? Well now you can do just that! Simply follow the instructions below.

Where the game is installed on your hard drive, look for the following file:

• for SimCity 3000:

   SimCity 3000\Game\Res\TilingRules\COLLAPSE.TXT

• for SimCity 3000 Unlimited:

   SimCity 3000 Unlimited\Apps\Res\TilingRules\COLLAPSE.TXT

Rename the above file to something else, such as:

COLLAPSE.TXT.BAK

Run the game. When you bulldoze any bridge (including power lines over water), highway ramp, or highway interchange, you can now remove one tile at-a-time. This "advanced editing" technique allows you to create some very interesting structures.
