athenian & skully250: I only know Kanto. I'm not really sure what the other regions look like. I've only played Red, Blue and Yellow.  But we'll see... hehe

There is a neat little tool called the 'Region Census' out there. You could use it to give a regional shot, and with a little photoshopping, make a region map!
Id also do a little teaser on the Dark Cave (black screen lol), but also the power plant near here.

Wonderful job so far!
