Call to duty
With the election of the republican Michael Reagan (a relative of former US president Donald Reagan) in the USA, tensions have risen even more, since Michael seems willing to restore the US supremacy in the world. The US continues propaganda and condamns the Russian Union as an evil empire, where oppression and famine are the routine. Of course these are lies, americans just want to obliterate us off the map.
Minister of defence has pushed the government to increase military expenditure, reaching the 13% of GDP.
Since the NATO allies of USA are skeptical toward the new US foreign policy, a possible invasion of the Russian Union could arrive from the Pacific. We have not a great fleet like the USA does, so the fight would be played on the ground field. For these reasons Kaliningrad was chosen to host a new military base on the pacific. Called "Northern Kaliningrad Ground Forces Base", it contains 1 brigade (56th Infantry), few dozens of tanks and some antiair vehicles, mainly T-90, T-95 and S-400.

The new hood was called Misha, close to Norsky. it was entirely planned by the union government. Misha gives home to 1460 soldiers and some factories related to the military field. The military complex contains also a missile base for tests. Government said that base will never contain any ICBM, it is just a small test base.

A view of the barracks:

Citiziens are happy with the new military structure. Many of them became anti-american during the years, and everyone feels that we should get payback since the end of the cold war. Kaliningrad local Tv has sent on air services about the military training and skill of our soldiers. Our citiziens are impressed and some plan to join the army. An old 2014 poster but very appreciated is taking over walls, lamposts and the rest of the town.

The written says: "Join the russian army today! Defend your motherland".
Here a shot of some T-72M/90 entering the town during the springtime.

Cold war is definitively restored, and Kaliningrad became an important outpost against the american imperialism.
Protestors didn't miss their meeting with the base. They were around 600 from civilian useless informations, but our official Tvs reported just 40-50 mad ecologists and no-war hippies. Anyway they were removed with use of black vans and brought somewhere out the town some FSB (russian intelligence) secret documents report. Here's a secret footage of the trucks almost ready to transport out town protestors.

None knows where these people were brought but the FSB. Actually none suffers for their disappearance. Anyway the mayor seeks to talk with the regional FSB office to know more about some disappeared Kaliningrad citiziens after the protest.
