In the year 1979 the USSR made a daring move to mobilize troops into the United States from the U.S./Canadian border. America was taken by surprise and was never able to fully launch a counterattack against the Soviet country. By 1982, the Russians had made it into Washington D.C. and the capital fell shortly after their arrival. After three years of hard fighting the United States of America had fallen to the Russians.
