Mineral Point is a city in Iowa County.
Trivia:
Large quantities of galena, or lead ore, were discovered around the settlement in shallow deposits. Lead had many uses at the time, and settlers began to flock to the region hoping to make a living by extracting the easily accessible mineral.
Monroe

Monroe is a city in and the county seat of Green County.
Trivia:
Known as "the Swiss Cheese Capital of the USA".
Montello
Population: 1495
Montello is a city in and the county seat of Marquette County.
Trivia:
Montello was once the eastern terminus of a spur line of the Wisconsin Central Railroad built in 1882 to service the granite quarry and other industries.
Monticello
Population: 1217
Monticello is a village in Green County.
Trivia:
The Post Messenger Recorder is the area's weekly newspaper.
Mount Horeb
Population: 7009
Mount Horeb is a village in Dane County.
Trivia:
Mount Horeb was once home to the Mount Horeb Mustard Museum, a light-hearted museum with an approximately equal amount of floor space devoted to exhibits and to its museum store.
