Algoma is a city in Kewaunee County.

Trivia:

The settlement Ahnapee which eventually became known as Algoma was founded in 1834 by Joseph McCormick of Manitowoc. In 1851, Irish and English pioneers moved to the area and called the place Wolf River. This was a loose translation from the Indian word An-Ne-Pe, meaning "land of the great gray wolf." The wolf was a legendary animal in stories told by the local Potawatomi Indians.
In the Menominee language, the town is known as Akem, meaning "snowshoe".

Bailey's Harbor

Baileys Harbor is a town in Door County.

Trivia:

The town was named for a Great Lakes ship captain named Bailey who was caught in an unexpected severe storm in 1848 and found shelter in the harbor. The area was formerly known as Gibraltar. A Native American name for the harbor is "Ah-quah-o-me-ning" for "Fish go to shore".

Black Creek

Black Creek is a village in north-central Outagamie County.

Trivia:

In July 2019, charges were filed against the former Black Creek Rescue Service treasurer, Kathleen Pasch. The charges detail 11 counts of forgery and one count of theft in excess of 100,000 dollars against the organization. Pasch allegedly forged numerous checks in the name of the village police chief, Lowell James. According to the criminal complaint, she also made numerous ATM withdrawals under the organization in excess of 130,000 dollars to fund a gambling habit from 2015 to 2018.

Bonduel

Bonduel is a village in Shawano County.

Trivia:

In 1964 attempts by the National Farmers Organization to get farmers to withhold their produce, milk and livestock from the market in order to boost prices resulted in the deaths of two NFO members who were run over by a cattle truck in Bonduel.
