Terraforming Update 2
Above is an image of the moors, a region of the map that resembles Scotland. Used a combination of fertile land and ore to texture the land. Color combinations of the textures adds a dimension of realism to the surroundings. Additionally, added numerous mini-cliffs to give the land more of an eroded appearance. Once trees and grass are planted should look much more natural around the mountains and rocks.

Beginnings of the marshlands were Blue Gill Lake ends and the Blue Gill River Continues. This area still needs a lot of work, and once again, additional trees and grass will like the area look more realistic.

Closeup of the interior of the marshlands. Very tricky to create, had to get elevations that were only a few meters above and below the waterline to appear just right.
