The city of Vista Del Mar: from bulldozers to bogeys the country club is done!

After countless man-hours of dirt moving, brick-laying, porta potty using, and soggy sandwich for lunch eating, the contractors and construction workers have finished Carlton Country Club & Estates, a new 9-hole professional course nestled along First Finger Lake in the Oswander District of Vista Del Mar. Mayor Williamson cut the ribbon officially opening the course to resident owners---and for a higher fee---the general public as well. Executives at Monticello Dev. LLC are savoring the bounty of cash returned on their investment as each lot along the course has been sold.

Home sites are finished, workers are putting the finishing touches on landscaping and fairways.

Several other developers in the city have taken notice of the country club. And with the market red-hot right now, I wouldn't be surprised to see one take a stab at one-upping this development with one of their own, seeing as how there is plethora of undeveloped land along the Second and Third Finger lakes in the district. Though, with mayor Williamson set to leave office soon, the new mayor might put the kabosh on future developments like this altogether or at least make it a whole lot more difficult to get approval for such to the detriment of the pristine and undeveloped land in the district.
