After nearly a year of cutting through the red tape, legal wrangling, illegal schmoozing, slush fund depositing, and other devious, high-level chicanery, Monticello Development Partners LLC, received final approval from mayor Daniel Williamson for the construction of a golf course and accompanying lots for homes along the prime land skirting the shores of First Finger Lake. Perhaps the mayor is eying one of the homes that will be built as a place to retreat once his term in office is over.

Work on the initial street access to the development is underway as a crane delivers building supplies...
