Welcome to Hillsdale Pointe!

Hillsdale Pointe was an urban re-development project of New Harper. While the city is home to the famous Hillsdale University, it lacked infrastructure and services to keep the city prosperous, clean, and healthy. It became a home to criminals, and many businesses were on their way out.
New Harper took a financial risk, and invested in expanding police services to clean up Hillsdale Pointe. This effort, coupled programs and partnerships with local churches, took the city in a better direction. Crime started to trend down. The university received additional funding and was able to expand the campus. Private corporations started offering mass transit options as well. The city now offers a unique infrastructure (lots of land bridges and tunnels), along with bus, ferry, rail, and airship mass transit services. Downtown is now a mix of educational buildings, shops, and offices.

Hillsdale is not only the proud home of many families, but also many businesses. The city's business-friendly policies attracted many reputable companies to renovate existing, run-down buildings into new, profitable businesses.

The commuter airship mooring is an experimental project from one of the companies that powers the city's airship. It's expensive to keep running, but it also brings in some of the top minds from the region.

Traditionally, wind power has not been a cost-effective source of power. Costs to keep turbines operational outweigh the profits. However, these prototype models have low manufacturing and maintenance costs. The turbines wrap around the entire city, giving technicians easy access when servicing these models. You can also take tours and check out these awesome pieces of machinery.

A zombie hot air balloon rises over downtown.

Finally, a look over downtown from the ridge.

Well that's it. Thanks for stopping by and checking out Hillsdale Pointe.
