Welcome to the city of Steelington!

City: Steelington

Mayor: FourteenRocket/14Rocket

Population: 108,000

City Specialization: Mining/Electronics/Trade

The severly industiral city of Steelington was founded in 1885 when prospectors found that the land was rich in iron and coal deposits. Ever since then it has been mining for the Amoroff (then it was the Kingdom of Amoroff). A little over 150 years later, the city has virtually changed little, remaining an industrial hub of Amoroff, bringing it a bountiful supply of wealth. This industry has a cost however. The city is heavily polluted, but someone's got to do the dirty work. Enviromentalists wave into the city every Earth Day to demote the smeel of big business in the city. Since the turn of the century, Steelington has put it's resources to use by making other products such as computers, processors, and flat screen televisions. If these industries were to fail, so would the city of Steelington as it sustains to be an economic powerhouse of Fairview.

The industrial district delvops quickly in the mid 1900s.

The tornado of 78' only flung a few trailers around. Soon after it was quickly developed into town houses.

Its amazing that the sunlight is even able to reach the city because of the massive air pollution produced from mines and smelting factories.

Well, nice city, but it's not artistic at all, maybe it's the graphics, they look too flat and silly (at least the first 3 pictures are great :D )
