Downtown Redevelopment
Hi Simtropians!
First of all I'd like to sorry about the infrequency between updates.(My RL life has been pretty busy)
Second of all today's update is about the redevelopment of Downtown Treka City.

This is downtown Treka City before the redevelopment

This is downtown Treka City today. As you can see the city replaced the palm trees between highways M-6 and M-1 because of the high demand for power in the city. The City also redeveloped downtown with all those new shiny buildings for only $9.92 Billion USD! They also kicked 6,000 people out of their homes in T-Project 177 for the tall skyscraper for the rich, above the helicopter UDI icon.(Srry For UDI i don't know how to turn it off!)

The building in the center was built for the Treka City Governments exclusive use for only $1.1 billion USD.Of course the city government went broke 3 months after the
completion of this project "for unexplainable reasons".Today the City government owns only 2 floors in the tower .

This is a street in the "New" Downtown. Many tourists seem to really enjoy the downtown, such as this 14 yr. old from Smallville,USA.
Tourist:I ABSOLUTELY LOVED TREKA! The downtown had all of these shiny new Skyscrapers, 2 McDonald's,and Gucci!!!!!!!!

This is another view of the "New" Downtown. Many locals think however think that this project is just a waste of many, such as this family from the Cultural District(2 KM Northeast of The Downtown).
Family:This project is just another way for the government to raise taxes on us,I mean seriously before the project our taxes were 36.15% but now their 47.69%!The City Government should have just kept the money instead of using it for another ridiculous Oceanolympics type Money Waster!!!

What do you think about the New Downtown? Should the government do this for the whole city? Tell the simtropolis world in the comments section!
