New Bridge Finished & New Outer Bridge
The 4th Street bridge was getting deteriorated, as traffic was more than queried. Instead of 500 vehicles and 30 passengers, the bridge actually had 600 cars and 400 passengers. The city has decided the bridge was unsafe and it was demolished.
Traffic will be diverted to the new 7th Street bridge while a new one is constructed.
1 MONTH AND 5,000 SIMOLEANS LATER...
I just came back from the bridge opening. The Midland Bridge can handle more traffic, and the 7th Street Bridge will remain as a backup bridge.
